Wipeout 2025?
Anyone who watched the intro of Wipeout 2048 can see a peculiar scene where is shown an intermediate period between present and 2048 that is set in 2025, showing two futuristic cars running on a highway and racing in a tunnel wall.

The scene start in 1:16
There is a director's comment version too:

But what is my point? Well, both I and many people in the comments of the videos shown great interest in a game based on the period of 2025.
Ok, I know that this game would not exactly be Wipeout, but could very well be a spin-off. At least I would find very interesting if that happened.
But what do you guys think? Is there any chance to exist a Wipeout 2025 in the future, since many people like the idea?

Personally, I did not like that bit.
It's too close to when Blemendo Invented the AG Drive. I've always thought it was F1-F-Something.

They told me on Friday that that part was inspired by Rollcage

That could be a cool game, use the slide physics of kinetica, and voila!

I don't see anything wrong with the idea of a WipEout game without AG technology. In fact, I actually think it would be pretty damn awesome.
I'm thinking of having Klaypex do the music.
