Thanks for passing them along. I sent you a message on YouTube saying that but wasn't sure if you got it. Others have been posting comments reporting similar issues and SL commented on all 3 videos. One reply stated that the online access issue should be resolved but it wasn't. I hope this all gets sorted soon. Now I know what a drug addict feels like when going through withdrawal. If I could only inject Wipeout into my veins. lol

Hey guys, if you want my opinion, I say just chill out. From what I've seen, SL is nowhere near abandoning this game, so just be patient, let them work out the bugs, and you'll be online again in no time. Keep sending them feedback, and they will address what you have noticed.

Oh, I've only raced offline, until today.
The Bots don't shoot on Eliminator, not fun.
Or Zone Battle, bunch of lame bots to scared to take me on I guess.

the worst update ever, i have a lot of problems, but i can play online with 0 problems, but the ships don't attack in every race and yesterday, i experimented the "invisible weapons", THIS SUCKS!!! , i want my old wipeout hd

Patch 2.50 is in development, which will fix all AI and online problems introduced in 2.40

Now can some of you stop getting your knickers in a twist?

Maybe a dumb question, but do I have to update it manually somehow? I still have update 2.10 even my PS3 is always online...

2.40 wasn't released in Europe due to the rampant issues with it.

No idea to be honest, all I know about the new patch is that it'll fix the 2.40 problems.

Yeah I've not bothered getting back in touch with Sony either. They'll be working on it I guess, things have clearly gone properly tits up with many aspects of HD and 2048.

And Hellfire, I don't think people are getting their knickers in a twist. USA players have had HD ruined by this patch, I don't blame them for being pissed off. If it were me I'd be struggling to be civil about it to be honest, I think the reaction of USA players on here has been pretty grounded.

in europe this patch aren't released?... lucky bastards xD!, in america this patch kill the game (the ships in eliminator don't attack, invisible weapons, online problems, today this affected me, and don't attack in racebox offline)

I should have clarified. I don't blame anyone for being pissed off about the patch, but it's the complete overreaction to having to wait for it that I was referring to, by post here as well as by PM. As though SL were just going to leave the game like this. Granted, I'm not referring to many here, but it's the lack of patience when it comes to fixing these things that is irritating. Thngs like that are not quick fixes, and once they are flagged up and acknowledged all we can do it wait.

Anyway, it's being fixed now so hopefully normal service will be resumed soon.

I haven't heard a thing about this until now. They must be rolling it out still. That rank reset is a kick in the teeth for the loyal players. Seems like an undercooked idea.
