Release date?

Are there ANY REAL release dates yet? Is it only Japan this year? And if it is will 2048 release in Japan ON THE same date? I would try an import, but only with release date garantees, and only if it is much sooner than the American release date

Same day as PSVita release date. I have no idea when that is.

On a french website they speaks of the japanese's launch list that must be anounced at TGS, there's not wipeout 2048. Maybe it will be a launch title in western countries (or the website list is wrong)

So nothing . That really sucks by Sony. Just give the damn release dates and games by region. It's not like your going to beat nintendo to Market.

Those are the release dates for Europe, although I imagine the US will get it nearer to the same time.

As far as I know, Sony announced Febrary/March 2012 as the European release date at the Cologne GamesCom. Then of course I want you to remind the dealys of the PSP and PS3 …

I think Wipeout has never been a launch title for the Japanese region. But maybe I am going to import the PSVITA from Japan anyway, with or without 2048. Just to be able to get the new feeling of it.

But will the vita be region free like the PSP? Otherwise importing a vita from Japan would be a disaster (especially considering how much that will cost).

Yes the PSVITA will be region free. I already got the money aside. I just have to have it. It will run my most favourite game.

What we have seen in the new vid was a Japanese version of Wipeout 2048! Does this mean Wipeout 2048 will come out first in Japan, before it even hits Europe?!

As far as I know it will be the first time Wipeout will launch in Japan!

It's still in alpha, and it was at Tokyo Game Show, so it will be in Japanese, naturally.
