    Default F9500 Race League Fan Fiction

    This piece of fan fiction I am writing is for the 2160 F9500 'Fusion' League. However there are some significant differences between this fan fiction and the actual game e.g super weapons cannot be used by any pilot until event 10 of the series and there are time trials and eliminator events in which no pilot can use their super weapons.

    How does that make any sense? The whole idea of the Super Weapons was to try and enforce the idea of the teams having their own private R&D departments making their own special weapons. They don't become 'special' any more if everyone can have them.

    I think I confused you challenger, I meant to say that pilots could not use their super weapons until event 10 of the series. Also, Challenger, this fan-fiction is set in an alternate universe to the official timeline as there are 20 pilots on the grid instead of 16 and there are 20 race locations spread across the world.

    Default Newsflash- 7 Feburary 2160

    The Icarus racing team has confirmed rumors about the Icarus Project's super weapon known as the Super Turbo by confirming its existence yesterday in a press conference to unveil their new AG Craft the 'Horus' for entry into their maiden season in the F9500 league.

    Lead pilot John Starling has sometimes been talking about the poor shielding capabilities of the Horus craft but has pointed out that the Horus has more shielding than the Van-Uber's 2e-320 race craft.
