    Default Ngen racing

When I first played this game, I remember " too slow" were my thoughts, but then I saw this. http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_u...?v=MTu76__SWzA
Can anyone verify the game does move this fast? Or is this a code? I am thinking about picking it up again since I like M.A.C.H quite a bit.

I had this briefly on PS1, got it for about £2 from gamestation because it looked similar to Wipeout. I ended up trading it in because I never felt like playing it. The best jets in the game do move as fast as that, yes. It's a tricky game though! Make sure you use the pro control set up, they make the flying much more satisfying

    Pros:
    -Gorgeous graphics by PS1 standards
    -Great trancey soundtrack
    -Real life Jets
    -Challenging courses
    -Speedy in the later levels

    Cons:
    -It does start out slow
-NGen Mode is a bit annoying with licence tests and saving up cash to buy better jets
-Flying through rings to get power ups... I HATE flying through rings! Reminds me of Superman 64!
Course design is a little uninspired

All in all, I found Curly Monsters' second and final game much more fun

Have you played Mach? That is pretty good at the faster speeds, pretty hard.

Is the pro mode faster than arcade?

I've not played Mach, but I do have a PSP, so I may pick it up if I come across it. Looks good.

As far as I know, pro mode doesn't speed things up, rather it gives you complete control over your jet, you can roll it upside down, bank properly, etc.

I had this for the PS1 b4 I sold mine, fond memories. Your link doesn't give me a video so I can't say whether it goes that fast or no XD. Pro mode doesn't change the speed like nis said, it just allows more control (yaw, roll, pitch) which is basically required to do the final races.
