I just love the juxtaposition of using the name, piano_practice , which implies that's what you should be doing, but instead is playing Wipeout......but later posts.... sorry I haven't posted recently, I've been busy ...probably [Practicing Piano ]

    Welcome.

i always wondered piano_pratice was something like 'piano_A' or 'piano_B' (in english means plan_A or plan_B).

Q: "so sir, the plan_A is gone! we should use plan_B now?"
A: "no more other plans A or B! we need practice, so now piano_PRACTICE..!"

am i wrong, or am i mad?

    (btw sorry, stop OT lol)

    WELCOME mate

    Greetings everyone! I'm TurboTails8027!

I'm based in the UK, and am an avid game collector, which naturally led me to acquire all the WipEout games, though I technically no longer own the original WipEout 3. I frequently play WipEout HD Fury, especially these days. I mainly collect racing and puzzle games. I'm also a computer programmer seeking to find work in the videogame industry eventually.

Hope to see you on the racecourse, whether we just relax and use it to chat, or we race seriously!

Yep. It also means I've got the odd setup of having two copies of HD Fury - on disc and download. They don't seem to share save files.

Thank you, Dixi. As for my WipEout experience, I have only the challenges uncompleted in WipEout 3 Special Edition, a high-progress Pure save, 100% Gold Pulse, 100% Gold HD Fury (Sadly not 100% Elite Gold, Detonator's why) and single-player 100%'d WipEout 2048.

    Genre Shifts. My one weakness.

I'm lucky Detonator's single player only otherwise I'd be in MAJOR TROUBLE for any online meets. Luckily all the online modes are race-type events. ^^

I will say I'm more comfortable on Skype than forums though, so if anyone here has a Skype and adds me on mine, don't be surprised if I use that more than this for contact.

Hi guys, I've been a member of the forum for a while but this is my first post. Figured it's about time to start talking. I have a ton to share but about Wipeout related stuff but I'll wait until I get my 5 posts under my belt.

Hello AG Pilots, here's another old wipeout fan.

I registered in WZ a few months ago and I thought it was time to say hi to all of you here.

    Now a little bio...
36 old spanish guy who started his neverending taste for WO AG Racing in a sorely missed grey playstation (the first model was I think, one with a lot of connectors on the back).
My first WO game was the one which polished the original formula: 2097. Nowadays I still own my good old WO2097 but also Pulse (PS2 version) and HD Fury (which I havenĀ“t found the time to play yet). Recently I've ordered a few other members of the saga: the first WipEout, Wip3out and Fusion. We'll see if I'm lucky and I get them in good shape.
I don't play much, truth be told, and my aim for the near future is to play most of the saga from the beginning (trying to get the best times possible and recording the races, or that's my original idea anyway).

Beyond Wipeout, I also have interest in writing (scifi, fantasy and a few other genres) and recently I developed an interest in boardgame making.

Well, I think that's enough for an introduction!
