The WZ Trophies

I've just looked on the rankings website and a grand total of 23 people have got to Zone 120 at Syncopia. Given that it's the second most popular track for Zone, that makes 120 a pretty rare achievement if you ask me. I've done over 5,000 laps at Syncopia and the highest I've got to is 109.

I think the Zone Valhalla trophy is a good one, challenging but do-able with some practice and determination. If the goal was 150 I wouldn't even bother because it's virtually impossible. And I'm pretty good at Zone.

in detonator mode, destroy all 14 bombs on corridon 12.

'Short Track Champion'(aka Super Zensational)
in zone mode, reach zone 45 (super zen +3) on either ubermall forward OR reverse without completing a single lap!
u have to race just the split, to achieve it.

'Welcome to Bodia'
win any eliminator event just using bombs and/or mines to destroy ur opposition. u are allowed to use other weapons, but destroy ur opposition only with bombs and/or mines.

'Tom Bombakill'
destroy at least 7 bombs in any eliminator event.

'Minesweeper'
destroy at least 15 mines in any eliminator event.

while leading an 8 player single race, lap the last place and get killed by him.

Does this count for the I. Am. Jenson. Button. trophy? Zero green sectors, but a fraction of a second ahead in the penultimate sector, but red when going over the sector timing line. That fraction of a second could have been lag too, especially considering how il_Nik sweeps back past in an instant. Dunno, I'll let you guys decide if it's close/impressive enough.

Damn, it's kind of annoying how they do that for old videos when they change the rules and yet don't inform me.

Never mind.

I think the Scared of heights is probably one of the most deceiving. I really didn't think it would be that hard, but I always seem to only end up 4 seconds ahead when the times come up. In one race I was 4.9 seconds ahead at the final sector. I picked up a boost on the final speed pad and used it straight away to cross the line. Still I only managed around a 4 second differential. I'm not sure I could every get myself into a much better position than that. Stupid AI.

Win 8player online eliminator event without using quakes.

"Forward killer"
Win online eliminator event without using flip.

"Clean eliminations"
Get 3 perfect laps in online eliminator event and kill least 1 person on every perfect lap.

"You can't touch this!"
Win any eliminator event, without losing energy (form weapons, track and ships)

"Double K.O."
On online eliminator event, kill opponent and get killed by him (or vice versa) in the same time.

"I'm still alive!"
In 8player online eliminator event, get hit by plasma (without destruction) and survive 60sec after hit.

"Surprised?"
Dodge locked missile using only flip (without shield, weapons and destroying missile from wall)

I had a go at "Sir Spamalot" last night, according to Jan's rules, against Novice AI at Mallavol. Online this trophy would be impossible, but in Racebox I pretty much did it first time. In hindsight I think the revised rules (max boost 5) for this trophy are a bit easy to be honest. NOT criticising, just my opinion. Anyway...

Sir Spamalot:In Zone Battle Mode, reach Zone 55 and win the race on any track. You must immediately boost or absorb whenever possible.

Here's a suggestion:

Where is everyone??
Race online with ONE player at least 10 minutes without someone else joining. (Can only be achieved when the lobby is set to PUBLIC)

I came up with this idea after me and Oryx had some races... alone... LOL

Eliminate an opponent in an Online Phantom Race by bumping each other.

Super Vengeance
Eliminate 2-3 opponents with one shot of Rockets.

Über Vengeance
Eliminate at least 4 opponents using a Quake.

Just Passing Through with Style!
Perform a Barrel Roll while heading straight to a Zone Barrier (of course, with Shield on too) in Zone Battle.

Locks On And Still Locking
Keep the opponemt locked on using a Leech Beam or Missile for at least 1 minute.

'Ey, Du Spinner'
in any eliminator event, kill an opponent by doing the spin-move (360º). to execute a successful spin-move, u have to do @ least 2 complete 180ºflips in a very short period of time (max.1sec.).

'No Time & Space'
successfully start an online single race, with a total amount of 0 laps to complete.

Yep, same here. I tried that one thinking "can't be that hard"... but vs Elite AI it is pretty damn hard.

It made me realize how horrible the lower path is.

'Autopilot from BRazil'
in any single race, engage an autopilot and let it successfully execute a BR.

'Safety 1st'
win any online single race, just using shield items (@least 1/lap). absorb all other items u get.

'Rare Shot'
in photo mode (offline: single race/eliminator/zone battle), take a picture, showing an AI-craft doing a BR (HUD must be visible!).

Autopilots can't execute Barrel Rolls, so as the AIs. Duh!

I think they can, I pulled off the autopilot BR once. Total fluke mind you, but it did happen. I was like "what the F***? YEEEESSSSS!!! I love you icaras!!! Long time!!! 5 dollar"
