I've been searching the specs of the VITA, looks like the abilities, interface/connection wise, should be be similar to the PSP GO!.
Which means if I get one I should be able to use it like a Mini PS3, hooked up to a TV and use a PS3 controller.
Since Campaign in 2048 will be online I will need to use it that way to progress, something I never bothered doing with the PSP because I couldn't see WTF I was doing on the small screen, plus other control problems for me playing wipeout on a handheld.
Since the VITA will be using proprietary flash memory cards [The bastards] your going to need to transfer PURE & PULSE and all DLC to them to play on the VITA, which I imagine most people here that buy a VITA will end up doing.
So that begs the question, do you think this will revitalize PURE and PULSE online play?
Seems there might be a hell of a lot others out there like me that might never have played PURE/PULSE online before, similar to what we are currently seeing with the HD/FURY resurgence since the welcome back give away.
Just think, it would be the first time you will be able to play 4 wipeout games online PURE, PULSE, HD/FURY and 2048 all from the one console...talk about spoilt for track choice.
