So, I have only played XL for the tournaments the last few years, meaning two tracks for the game, and this year I picked gare d'europa (with piranha ship). After practicing alot for wipeout hd, I have had a huge wakeup call, it is hard as hell to be consistent, got one good time out of nowhere, but would not be able to count on it when needed, and I need far more practice for the tourney. I am glad my son (CRUDBALL) wanted to use the ps3 today, otherwise I may have waited to practice to the last minute.

Anyone else have issues like this for any of the older games, after playing pure/pulse/HD?

Yes actually Only my issue was with Pure. About 4 months of that and I decide to play wo3 for a bit. I was TERRIBLE I had to crank it down to rapier. I forgot how much faster the old games were then the new ones. I haven't even attempted XL yet
