__RulEZ & RegulAtionS__

head to head, knock-out rounds : choose between Custom Battle (default settings for universal acclaim) OR Classic Avalon Battle (optional settings) /FURY EXTENSION NOT REQUIRED/

Custom Battle :
-Each pilot chooses 3 rounds (speed Class, single race/weapons or no weapons, green, lap number, BR ON/OFF OR zone battle (max target limitations above, optional settings)
-best of 7 rounds
-the last round will be the same for everyone (DEFAULT SINGLE RACE, RAPIER, WEAPONS ON)
-One disconnection hazard/rematch by round for each opponent (two in case of major global psn issues)

Zone target limitations (optional settings, activated in case of disagreements)
max target 50 : Syncopia - Mallavol - Pro Tozo - Corridon 12 - Anulpha Pass
max target 45 : Vineta K - Moa Therma
max target 40 : Metropia - The Amphiseum
max target 35 : Modesto Heights - Tech de Ra - Sol 2 - Ubermall
max target 30 : Sebenco Climb, Chenghou Project, Talon's Junction

-2 weeks (3 weeks is the deadline) per round to arrange your match

Well that part was awful to determine, as this list is soo partial. This is a mix up between Connavar site & the world rankings, so apologies for the terrible result. Well, first round will be already a though one. Once again, apologies to all the great pilots who are not in the list.

yeah it's a 1 vs 1 cup mate, we already have the double league and Xpand teams, thought it would be great to organize that kind of cup once again (like a tennis tournament btw). Would you be up for a try? Big thanks for spreading the news btw!

Kanar, if you are going to allow the choice of type of race to the two people who are racing, well you might as well let them do any style, type and speed of race they want.
Flash eliminator or Zone battle for example, if two people from different teams agree it isn't going to matter really is it.
And this way it will stop all the shouts of "Elite Phantom racers only" like we had in last years WC, that made a lot of people feel left out because of that.

Just make it a set amount of 1 point for 1 win for each race, with a bonus 2 points if you win all your races against your opponent, it can't get any simpler than that.

Argh sorry I didn't explain well my idea. I meant a cup like Kaori did a while ago, tennis-style cup, with direct elimination. No team involved, as it's a solo event. But thanks for your ideas BW, I've added the possibility, as you suggested, to choose your mode if the 2 pilots agree with something they prefer both. So, you're in BW btw?

My feelings on it though is that we should keep Eliminator and Zone Battle out of it as it has nothing to do with "Avalon" but I'm all for Weps on/off at any speed class.

YAY! thanks guys! Kgb I agree with you, but I would be glad to satisfy everyone. Would be awesome to have the biggest cup ever, gathering all class/modes pilots. As Mr De Coubertin said :

thanks a lot guys for your inputs! miizu3, yes of course there will be a possibility to make your round at a lower class, if your opponent is ok; let's take an example :

Let's imagine you're opposed to me; As I'm a gentleman lol, I'm ok for a custom round instead of the standard one : you're choosing the modes for 3 rounds, and I'll choose 3. The last one will be the same for everyone, defined before the start of the rounds. Standard mode is here if no agreement can be reached.

Thanks for that my friend. Just updated the rules, should be "the universal acclaim" now lol. Custom mode allows you to choose 3 rounds over the 7, any class, anything you want.
