    @leungy..thx

vinetta k was a crap race..totally unfair..way too many turbos ..so many i didnt even have to do br's on them just play safe..

unfair pads spoil many games imo

@oryx ..i did silence my ubermall down a lot but felt it spolied the atmosphere of a tense race..

full sound on races is the best part about it.especially on playback when you laugh at some of the rubbish you say.

apologies to all for my bad language..my mouth lost control for a moment or two

Basically TT/SL are the easiest and hardest modes to race ! All depends on what you try to achieve !

Guilty. How did I miss that rule....

Race report on Krestel cloud round 2:

    Ichigo17 vs. Constrictor4U ("A Generations Race")

That was a competition I didn't expect. Never raced Ichigo, just saw the 1st round report and learned that he's somehow connected to those fast French pilots. Err, now what to expect? I was totally clueless. When we had to reschedule our meeting due to illness Ichigo greeted me with 'I'm not trained'. Err^2, well, that should not mean anything. Go for it ...

The first race at Flash was a perfect start for me. 1st pad a turbo and away I was. Got a few other turbos and nervousness did settle. 2nd race did show that he truly wasn't trained. And that followed through the next races. Mate you should have practiced a little more as your MP times are not that bad. The last race on Sol2 was a very special one: At the first split time I got a 7 or 8 second lead ... WTF?! I lapped him in round 4 and after finishing the race he told me that he tried a very special racing technique - telephone-n-racing. I know how disturbing this could be so we did a rematch on Sol2.

In the end it was much easier as planned to advance into the next round.

    Ichigo17 tracks:
Ubermall, Flash, 4 laps, Weapons ON, BR ON -> C4U
Sebenco rev., 5 laps, Phantom, Weapons OFF, BR ON -> C4U
TDR, Phantom, 5 laps, Weapons ON, BR ON -> C4U (finished w/ Personal Best for me)

    C4U tracks:
Sebenco rev., 5 laps, Phantom, Weapons ON, BR ON -> C4U
CP rev., 5 laps, Phantom, Weapons ON, BR ON -> C4U
Sol2, 5 laps, Phantom, Weapons OFF, BR ON -> C4U

    Final result: Ichigo17 : C4U (0:6)

Thx for the races mate, the nice chat and staying into the game. You are/were a nice and friendly sportsman. Even that I was in a hurry to get this round finished before 9 pm as I had a 'date' with my wife. I was just 30 minutes late for that. 1st things first

Just got YLOD and I'll have to see whether I can be bothered to repair it or buy a completely new one at all... I'm ****ing pissed off with Sony tbh, idiots. DELIGHTED I could deactivate the system right before it died, that was crucial as it was the 5th system activated on my account... done some stupid sharing in the past I totally regret, but I'm glad I can at least download WipEout whenever I get a new one...

So, just saying, I'm an uncertainty for the rest of the cup.

LOOOTS of news everywhere, eh eh it's the WipEout HD Cup, so what did I expect anyway lol. So let's try to find a word for almost everything

Jeez what a terrible news there Jav. Tbh Sony & Microsoft should put on the market special versions of their hardware, dedicated to the hardcore gamers exclusively. Hope you could sort this out soon mate, of course if you have to withdraw we'll understand.

Eh eh Constrictor nice report there, yeah Ichigo is a nice chap, congrats to both of you & good luck C4 for your nxt round!
Yeah I saw for Welly, Zero3 is in the zone atm, & I think Welly is in Gt5 like me eh eh. But I was happy to see Zero3's report here, as Welly clearly put his mark on the first year of HD.
Arh... Leung! Well tbh I'm not really surprised here as Jasmin & you are clearly Wipeout fanatics in perfect conditions. I read Jasmin was often practicing online wth Medusa, well it's maybe part of your success. What an epic one, 4-3! Massive congrats to both of you. Hopefully there's still hopes for France wth Eric, Pirah, Wowo, GS and a few more

Hellfire, well I think I feel like you lol, retirement is a nice thing too, played myself exclusively HD for more than 2 years & well after 3 months of Gt5 I feel really good ah ah. You lost against a real Big Boi anyway (+ add to that some lag issues...), no shame there, really.

And I can't forget this name : Aka-Sho. I'm really proud to have you in this cup mate, & I'm sure all the Japanese wipeout fans are proud of you. So keep it up & blast this vulture board, Japan FTW!

Finally, big congrats to one of the Cup Big Boi, Vartazian, who played & won his round this we. After having trouble wth Picsystuff, I found him a nice chap to race wth thanks to Col. Gad. So Matplayer1, BIG THANKS TO YOU for participating, was a bit tough to play a badass like Vart but you did it so Big thumbs up to you.

@ shindubhe & Rdmx : I like you both, you're nice chaps, so I'm letting you a few more days. Then please, put your alarm on in the night or in the morning, drink some red bull, well try your best to meet you both online; it's not like you are the only ones in that case (timezone difference).

    + Vartazian's Log :

"After a Very tired Vartazian And Matplayer1 Started to Duke it out things seemed they were going to Be Very down to the wire down to the end. The Results are as Follows
    Vartazian's Picks
    Metropia FWD ZB Tar 55
    Vartazian Wins 55-49
Modesto Heights FWD Phantom Weaps: ON 5L
    Vartazian Wins

    Matplayer1's Picks

    Vartazian wins

    Winner Matplayer1
The Races were very close all being within 3 seconds of eachother, It was a pleasure racing MAtplayer and was alot of fun! "

I raced Mad-Ice yesterday, with Mad winning 5-1 after 6 all phantom weapons races.

    Race Report
    Amorbis' Choices:
    Modesto Heights Reverse: Mad-Ice
    Chenghou Project Reverse: Amorbis
    Moa Therma Forward: Mad-Ice

    Mad-Ice's Choice's:
    Metropia Reverse: Mad-Ice
    Sebenco Climb Reverse: Mad-Ice
    Talon's Junction Reverse: Mad-Ice

It was very one-sided, I kept on Mad's tail the whole time, but he has that extra bit to get him to the end.

To report the second round race against luna_bgd.

    luna:jan709
    4:0
    sol2 fwd phantom
    ubermall ""
    sebenco ""
    syncopia target 40

luna crushed me in the single races and my strategy to go for two zonebattles and a moa therma with weapons on didn't pay off.
