Default So I've just played it for the first time...

I've had WO64 for a while, but I was never able to actually play it, untill I got the thing in an emulator. Almost got third on Klies Bridge, in my first ever race! :O Would've done better than I did if not for the feckin' controls being an unknown quantity to me.

Edit: Just tried KB on Phantom. Nevar. Again. . Does anybody know how to fix the glitchy audio in this?

Buy a Nintendo64 and Wipeout64 on eBay. There are some really good prices. If you are lucky you can get your hands on a boxed Wipeout64. I did it the luxurious way and also bought an almost new N64 controller with memory pack and extension cable. Let the good times roll!

I'm not able to get anything on ebay, and I wouldn't have one anyway; My laptop takes up less room.

Have you tried a different sound plugin? Which N64 emulator are you using?

I'm using Project64. Haven't tried a different plugin, but will edit this post with the results.

Try the other main N64 emu, UltraHLE or something like that.. I know the game works okay in one, and runs really fast in the other... you may have to check off an option that says "sync game audio"

I've done that in P64, but I'll have a go at the other one. Thanks for telling me.

You can still buy a brand new copy of this game at Game Quest Direct.

I got it last year. It's a solid entry in the series.

    Like I said:
I cannot buy anything online and that isn't going to change.

Besides, I played it on an N64 and I just don't have the hands for the controller.

Sorry dude, I realized you just want to go the emulator route, I was just making a PSA for anyone who doesn't have the game and might want it.
