Classic stuff - good find
.
Wam, how did you find this? it seems like it would have been pretty obscure, hidden really deep
.
Hey Wam,
Great work on those ninja skills.
What a find. The soundtrack sounds like an early version of Body in Motion, or even a remix.
Made my day,

It wouldn't play on my player.
to be honest, I just entered "Wipeout" in google and wasnt looking for something particular, just killing time
its "Hakapik Murder" (by CoLD SToRAGE), one of the tracks that are only included with either the 2097 pc version or the version that came for sega saturn.Originally Posted by Spaceboy Gajo

AmigoJack,
I'll plead ignorance.

PS - I honestly didn't know that. It sounds so similar to Body in Motion.
I know that akamai is Apple's video server so I knew where to look on Apple's site for game trailers. since the game was recently released on mac, this was out:
http://www.apple.com/games/trailers/wipeout/
downloaded it and now I am going to make a divx out of it.
I burned it to a VCD full of comercials lol
won't work on my computer! i really wanted to see it...
.
''I know that akamai is Apple's video server''
erk... i know this is a late reply, but Taylor, sometimes when i'm on commercial sites other than Apple's home, i've seen server calls to akamai while their front page is loading. i'm wondering if this is just a bit of net thievery on their part, or if akamai is a more general resource, not exclusive to apple
..
yeah that was an awesome trailer i thought that was the remixed body in motion cold storage put out. Anyways wasnt there a music video that had an anime chick in it? i remeber i saved a really crappy version on my hard disk it was a neat video, didnt seem to have THAT much to do with wipeout like a side story...anyone have any other links for it.
Does anyone know of a faq or something that explains the whole wipeout story? thanks...
In the features section on the main site there are profiles of Belmondo/pilots done by Damon Fairclough, the copy writer for the wipeout manuals. These give a small bit of the background to the wipeout universe
