Default Where art thou, Tigron and Van-Uber?

Tigron and Van-Uber was'nt featured in Wipeout HD... yet they are seen as billnboards? I encountered Tigron in Metropia (right after a huge drop) and Van-Uber in Vineta K (in the apartments) and Sebenco Climb (In the large dam and a billboard on one of the buildings).

I have a feeling that Studio Liverpool left out Tigron and Van-Uber in Wipeout HD without any reasons. I find it dissapointing because I never got a chance to pilot both Tigron and Van-Uber . I also wanted to see how Tigron and Van-Uber looked like in their Fury forms.

BTW, Tigron and Van-Uber are my favorite teams.

I was afraid you was gonna say that . Alas, I don't have Wipeout Pure, since I don't own a PSP (I only have Wipeout Fusion, HD and Wipeout PS1).

Fortunately for you, it is the holiday season and PSPs are relatively cheap now!
Perhaps the best thing about the PSP system is that if Pure doesn't grab you, Pulse will. People generally seem heavily drawn to one and lightly drawn to the other.
Well, people who like HD anyway. 8 D

    No, that's freaking bad taste!

just kidding... still hope they will be added to HD eventually, for the sake of completion.

But what would happen to EG-X then?

Tigron was my favorite ship in Pure, great speed and something about it felt very balanced. Van Uber on the other hand I was less fond of. But I would still like to see both return.

Yeah. We should tell Studio Liverpool that we support teams Tigron and Van-Uber (and that they must add Fury versions of both Tigron and Van-Uber).

I dunno about you, but I'm not sure how a Tigron Fury version would come out. The Fury ships seem to be all about angles and Tigrons are all rounded and stuff, especially around the fuselage, aren't they?

But, if SL wants to stay on the current curve, they might do well to entice players with new DLC, and I guess there are teams that could come back in some form or another.

Honestly, my biggest qualm with Tigron is, weirdly (well, maybe to some), canon. That Tigron in PurE was supposed to be the last one they ever found. Ever. There's so many times you can be a rare treasure set to make a comeback, unless you're Brett Favre...

Why Van-Uber? Looks like something out of Star Wars, with a bit of World War II to go with it. Ugly as sin.

That was just an excuse to combine both games.

Some person's "ugly" is another person's "cool".

    I've always liked van-Uber, even though it's not a classic-style WipEout design.

True, but every time that I look at that... thing, I have this mental image of a P-38 colliding head-on with a Snowspeeder.

well, i'm really picky with how some of the wipeout ships look.

I absolutely hated the Fury ship variations with all their jagged edges and random spikey bits, but others liked these different looking ships. And Mirage been a giant flying green bug seems really odd to me! So it really is a case of 'each to their own'

...but for some reason i love van-uber...despite it's 'different' design, i like the colour scheme and loved using it in both Fusion and Pure.

Nah, there wouldn't be a collision; the P-38 woulda shot the Snowspeeder to nothing with those five 20mm cannon before they ever got that close.
