    Default Air Brakes.

    Don't really do much do they. Especially since playing HD, I come back to this game after a 10 year hiatus maybe, and I crash more using them than I do without! Still its nice to have a challenging game
    I never did unlock phantom back in the day so something to aim for.

    The way airbrakes work has been changed since 2005. Using them does not slow you down now.

    They certainly slow you down in Pulse, whatever the manual says. Haven't tested in the other games, though.

    The airbrakes do pretty much NOTHING now. I want airbrakes back the way they were in XL/2097 and WO3... I used to sail around the courses in the old games...
