So there is no 3D update for the disc version of the game!?! Then lucky me I have the digital download cause I plan on buying a 3D TV fairly soon. It's still strange that the disc version downloads a patch that it doesn't seem to use though.

Oh, I misread your post, the retail version was actually downloading the 2.10 patch !? Strange that it didn't use it -__-

AFAIK the German Version has some artwork in the inside. So yeah, you could reverse it, but you would not have the cover on the front anymore

If anyone’s wondering which artwork it is, click here for a link to the high-res version.

    Cool

Darn it, I don't know why the difference Sausehuhn, but I just got my copy in the mail, all the way from Germany...and no artwork on the inside, just the reversible cover.

No worries, Medusa. I checked it and you're right. There’s no reversible cover.
I mixed something up there. So now someone answer me this: Why do I have a DVD/PSP/Blu-Ray-case in my mind with that artwork in the background? I’m almost sure I’ve really seen it. My mind is playing tricks on me.

    Ah and here’s my 3000th-post-candle-cake

There are two types of blu-ray discs:One for the public, one for reviewers. The latter is said to be unplayable on normal consoles.

And mind you, it only has HD on it. Fury wasn't out yet.

    Cool

So I went to a lot of trouble and extra expense for the purpose of being able to play HD and HD/Fury as separate games, HD as the downloaded game and HD/Fury as the disc...and after playing only a few hours (I think?) of the HD/Fury disc, I've gotten so fed up with the growling disc noises from my PS3 (I play with volume levels fairly quiet, usually) and especially, the horrendous jittering and skittering and frame freezing while I'm trying to play these pathetically slow VENOM speed races!!! It's VENOM! What is it slowing down for?? Not to mention, I don't want a bunch of records from my same ID cluttering up the records which are nasty enough as is...
Therefore, I just began downloading the add-on. The bluray is now just another wipEout disc in the collection.

Since it is a press release, I think it might be a digital key to activate the game on a debug ps3.
