Don't remember exactly, about four or five, I think. Well, much more
interesting, I did a perfect lap in zone 84! This a pretty interesting
information. Hence, there is a passage around VK without touching
anything on zone 84. And as such making it possible to have near full
shield crossing zone 85 leading to a possible 95.

I focused a bit more on my consistency now that zone 90 was broken.
The new VK zone record reads; 294420, 90 / 69.

Would be cool if you can reach zone 90 as well. Man, I tell ya, reaching
zone 100 is going to be very hard. And I'm not even sure if VK allows for
it at all. Anyway, it's such a great experience running down VK at
    supersonic speed. So awesome!

you can still go for it, it only gets alot harder now to beat the guy, but thats only more fun running down VK in cockpit at that insane speeds,

I was now at the end of mach1 with 100 hp and I spilled 90HP in just 3 seconds or so.....

do you guys have some tips for me how i can keep a low hartbeat, i found out that the harder my hart is beating the harder i will crash! so plz bring me some zen tips en tricks.

@DreamyElf: Thx mate. Have seen you lately on some tracks. Keep
    pushing!

@Dark-Twisted: What's your current best on VK; score, zones / perfect
    zones?

@ZixXer: There is no way around. Even I feel a stronger heart beat and
adrenaline rush while being near the end of a new record run. That's what
make ZONE such a unique experience. To cope with a high pressure you
have to focus on the things you have to do. This situation is somehow
similar to a panic scenario. If you only get one chance, then you better
don't let it go. This is something you really have to realize. A high
pressure is a necessity, it rises your attention a multitude! But of course
there is a limit for everyone. And that's how the leaderboard builds up.

I can't remember the exact details =P I'll have to check back later, all I know is that I got upto Zone 60, which I knew I could improve on...

and yeah, ZONE can give a sort of panic feeling... and an adrenaline rush... that's why I love it so much ^^ amazing what it does to ya!

We are panic junkies then. xD

Yeah zone 60 usually induces a break due to the coloring for some
people, but give it some time and zone 60+ may become second
    nature to you.

that rush is why i love zone so mutch!
i cant realy find that in online mode... this is the first game that i like a sp game more then a mp game.

and for the higher levels, its just practizz makes perfect,
a few weeks a go I needed to beat that dame zeus rec, and now with almost every play i go 75+ then i do something stupid and die...

but for the rest i can fly pretty perfect on 75+

but the 90 isent that far off! and starting to do more and more perfects on 80+
100 here i come, 16 zones to go... 16*13 sec = 3,4 min i have to fly extra...

gl ps to beat the 100 before me, but i dont think you will need the luck

Actually I find the color change at zone 75 most annoying. Okay, the black and white sheme starting at 60 (lasting 15 zones long) is confusing as well, but when the color changes at zone 75, the whole tracks is covered in white for simply too much time. Once you mastered that, though, the gold is very pleasing to the eyes, if you ask me.

I already had a few zone sessions with sunglasses on, that reduces the contrast. That's at least my subjective perception.

i know what you mean but i dont think supersonic is hard to the eyes,
mach1 is mutch more evil! but you can always pull down the contrast on the tv itself thats alot smarter then a sunglass if you ask me.

I find Mach 1 and Supersonic kind to my eyes... I mean if it switched to rapier or super-phantom colours when I hit Z75 well then I'd be truly screwed =P

    xD Not sure if serious.

I don't know where you draw your conclusions from, but zone 100 is
very difficult to reach on VK, if ever. My next goal would be a 95. And
I think that reaching zone 95 will be a lot more difficult than zone 90
(not saying that zone 90 is any easy xD). Anyhow. I know at least that
there is a passage to zone 95 , but zone 100 will be a completely
    different story.

Wow I'm seriously confused. All the walls are enclosed so it seems impossible to get a barrell roll. Yet people have 10k more points than me in the rankings with same perfect zones. I find it hard to believe they've got 4/5 more perfect laps than myself. If they managed that then surely they'd have alot more perfect zones too. Weird :S

if you do 50 laps 25 perfects can be like 15 perfect laps
but if you drive 1 perfect zone then you bounce then perfect then bounce, etc
you could get around 2 perfect laps so you still have the same 50 - 25 but the score makes 13*2000= 26000 points you miss

and driving perfect at the start will alow you to baroll alot more, then you can go drive normaly at the end and survive longer

Angry Accidental Barrell Rolls on Zone FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Seriously, the inner noob in me has me try to rearrange/balance my ship in mid-air and as a result BR on EVERY jump at high speed, EVERY time!

Does this ever happen to anyone else/Is there a way to turn off BRs in Zone Mode(Guessing not...)
