Just a question. if Austrai Drops out (since it looks like this german team isnt coming to fruition) Does everyone in bracket A get "3 pts" for an auto win? Im wondering how were going to keep this Scoreboard fair.
Everyone getting 3 points is the equivalent to everyone get 0 points, the difference is exactly the same . Team Austria has yet to race so if they do drop it out it won't make much of a difference to the 3 remaining teams. It's a shame for them to have to drop out, a dark horse in the competition I would have thought.
Vartazian seems to have been thinking that the points teams have at the end of the group phase would carry over to the knockout phase, somehow, to determine the ultimate winner as the team with most points.
This doesn't happen Vartazian, as it's a straight knockout tournament after the first round - so if you lose, you lost. It works the same as the football World Cup. You know football right? It's the sport where you get from one end of the pitch to the other and score goals by kicking a ball with your foot.
About the Austria Team... We can make a team composed by the second line of yours teams, players that are reserves, but haven't race yet... There are many French, English active in this forum. Just to make the 10th team, and of course races will be in a single day only probably, but can't be ?

Yeah Yeldar I know what you are talking about! SaturnReturn was in tha zone dude, unstoppable. I am really happy for him. The rest of our team did ok and we fought hard but he just saved us all.
Thanks guys. But most of my wins I had a Dutchman behind me anyway. I stole a couple by only hundredths of a second thanks to last moment boosts too. Overall it was a very good team performance. I hope we can replicate this against France.

ENG 321 NORDIC 143 was the biggest win so far (and the opening match no less)
NMA 237 TFD 233 was the closest game!

Though i did not see it, FrostE appears to have been the most deadly shot on the track so far.
ANZ came up with the biggest upset so far beating those mighty fast Japs! (lets hope scotland dont top it by beating England!)
Been hugely enjoyable so far, and no doubt the best is still to come
(had an idea earlier today to have an American style "All Star" race after the final including the top 8 players with the most MVPs? )
