Steering - Left Analog - I'd be glad to find a pad where the D-Pad does not s*ck but haven't been looking for that much anyway forget about DS3's D-Pad
    Acceleration - 10
    Airbrakes - L1/R1@90
    View - Far
    Ship - AG sys skin2
    Pilot Assist - shouldn't exist
Hud - Wip3out for zone, HD elsewhere. What I like in the wip3out hud for zone is those little white points at the bottom left, this way you know exactly where a zone ends and at higher speed on some circuits you can take advantage of it to wallhit earlier or as late as possible to have one more perfect zone (for example for the hairpin on reverse CP)
Music - Who's next by The Who
Screen - Viewsonic VX2260WM (22" 16/9). Cheapest way to have a good full hd screen

    Accel: X - 10 Sensitivity
    Air Brakes: L2/R2 default sensitivity
Music: Anything between techno, rock, old wipeout stuff, and even some anime stuff. ;D
    View: Far
    SixAxis: Pitch only at 60
Craft: Mirage, Goteki 45, Triakis, and Qirex.
    Hud:Wipeout XL/2097
    Pilot Assist: Offffffffff.

Also, I use the D-Pad for steering, have since the first Wipeout, and it's worth noting that I typically have the controller pitched down so I can hug the course and glide through the turns nice and tight, really helped me earn some speed as I'm not specifically crazy about BR's.

Just got a new Saitek PS2700 pad. It lets you swap the position of the stick and dpad around. I find it so much easier to barrel roll with the stick in the normal dpad position

    Steering: Stick
    Thrust: Square set to 10
    Fire: X
    Absorb: Triangle
    Airbrakes: L1 and R1 set to 50
    View: Far
    Favorite Ship: Assegai
    HUD: HD
    Pilot Assist: NO
