Just starting to use my Playstation Portable console again. Just downloaded firmware 5.05. PSP XMB looks like the PS3 one now with the PSN Sign In on the far right side. Its been 4 years since the PSP was released on the world market, still gotta say today its such of a good unit. More practical than the Nintendo DSi unit, and even the PS3 Unit. Shame there isnt more games on the PSP, but im really happy that all my Ridge Racer classics are on it as well as Wipeout and many other favourites. Members here who do not have a Playstation Portable Console and are looking for a practical unit more music and wireless connectivity as well as constant upgrade able software, this is really a worthwhile investment.
Just have a question ive still have the 1GB Memory Stick Duo Pro that i bought back in 2005 ($189 AUD)after buying the Playstation Portable at its September 1st Australian launch. I really want to purchase a 8GB MS Pro Duo or even a 16GB one, just that i have heard there are issues with the PSP with any sized MS of 8GB and above (data loss, corruption etc). Is this true? Does anybody have any problems with these larger sized cards?
