    Wat the ****!

Ehm ... Zone Zeusing Metropia has to wait a bit, I guess. My a$$ got
pwned on Anulpha Pass. Seruginnzi kicked me off from pos. 1 by
about 1000 points. Well done, Mr. Seruginnzi! Welcome up there!

Na ... I don't switch over to AP just yet, I think he deserves to be there
... for a week. Well no, currently I'm at Metropia doing a full course
analysis under various circumstances. Metropia requires one to be able
to keep the craft straight at will to not hit any wall and to align the
craft perfectly for some combinations. But I have problems doing this,
because my infinitesimal steering-inputs are messed up (as explained).
So outside from the mag. stripe I will try to prevent (!) the craft going
straight. That is to say, at high speeds, i.e. SUBSONIC and MACH 1, I
will approach each turn by an arc. That seems to be more risky at first,
but I can control the craft better that way because the instability
    doesn't occur.

After Metropia I will fix-up the leaderboard on Mao Therma.
kingheim took over the lead at MT a week ago. Good work,
    Mr. kingheim!
I think you love that track like crazy, because
you also lead on the reverse one.

Additionally, a new glitcher on Anulpha showed up with ~500 Zones and only 6 perfect :/
So you're now at 4th place PS ;p

(me still 15th but I've beaten the Magic 100 ZONES barrier of course :/ with less perfects, so it's not registered)

Right, there is a new one, have seen him/her a couple of days ago. I get sick looking at
the leaderboard of AP. SL owes us something for looking at the **** for over 6 months
now. It hurts, you know? I mean, the effort you have to spend is so high on
    AP ZONE....

Yeah I've noticed you a few days ago on the leaderboard. Congrats for braking the
barrier of 100 zones. Bring it On!

lol ProblemSolver seems like you can't retire now

as far as I'm concerned I'm fed up with anulpha pass, though that's where you can make the highest zone score, the track in itself is not that interesting

I'll attempt to get to zeus on moa

I understand your frustration with the messed up scoreboards for zone mode and I admire you for your skills and achievements on AP, but I'm getting a little tired of reading about it in every other post. I'm sure SL knows about the issue and hopefully they'll fix it before or when Fury is released. In the meanwhile, let's focus on improving our records and skills!

SL actually do know about the issue, that I can confirm.
However, it is still unacceptable that the glitched scores have remained for so long. Zone is ruined, and single race is ruined.
I really do hope when Fury is released that SL will clear those records to show a "clean game" to the new buyers.

@sh1kamaru-: I never intended to retire. I just started! xD Zone Zeus on
Moa makes the track fun. It's when you say to yourself; Man, that is sick!
Beyond zone 80, on Moa, you fight against the bits and bytes comprising
WipEout HD. For example, you can't see the first corner any longer once you
get out of the last corner (where the big tearing and shuttering takes place)
onto start/finish. The pictures you're going to see are all very distorted
(pixelized). I guess that's the moment were the down-scaler kicks in, which
almost always equals death. The only chance to survive is to be able to take
that corner blindly. And now imagine you are on a record run with your pulse
sky-rocket and your body fully flooded with adrenaline. xD Man, that's why I
play ZONE! The thrill is kick ass!

OMG ProblemSolver, you're really pushing the game to the limits, that's
incredible!! I'm sure you could do some amazing Time Trials if you wanted to,
but Phantom is too slow for you I guess

ProblemSolver have you tried playing the game at a lower resolution. I know the game looks awful at 480p but maybe it makes the game more manageable at the higher zones?

No it doesn't make the game run better. There's still stutters here and there at 480p, and the barrel rolls still don't work.

@Connavar: I'm always amazed looking at the textured version of each
track. xD Perhaps I should start TTing around. Up to my taste the game
could be a bit faster, but unfortunately the crafts can't cope with higher
speeds. I hope there will be an DLC called Velocity where each craft is
enhanced with some insights drawn from the ZONE craft. Well, I think this
is already done to some extend if you look at the Zone Battle version of
each craft. I can tell you, the ZONE craft as well as the ZONE mode with
all its statistics are the prototypes for a high velocity WipEout, possibly
    via an DLC.

@Reezy: I already did that month ago as I was battling with Larikum on
Vineta K ZONE. I found out that he was playing on an SD TV, so I thought
that he could profit from a more stable framerate. Hence, I switched to SD
as well. No difference. Usually the game should run a bit more fluent at 480p,
but instead it even tears at the same spots. Strange. However, I will check it
out once more because SL patched the graphics a few month ago (cipher:
    tears over Metropia xD).

With respect to one of my previous post; I took over the lead on
    Moa Therma and Metropia!

    [ProblemSolver@ZONE]
Moa Therma: 206978 points, 85 zones, 63 perfect zones, rank 1
Metropia: 170382 points, 68 zones, 48 perfect zones, rank 1

I have to admit that pulling out these 48 perfect zones wasn't that easy.
The new handling is at an disadvantage at Metropia. Anyways, I wouldn't
be the ProblemSolver if I couldn't solve this problem as well.
I actually did a 71 on Metropia but was lacking perfect zones. Despite
I'm only 4 zones aways from Zone Zeus it's going to be, well, difficult?

My result on Moa Therma is now a tough one. I think I could do a
87/65 but I'm not going to do this cause the shuttering beyond zone 80
is terrible. Anyways, if anyone will ever beat me up there I would stand
    up and applaud with respect.

oh that's bad for me my screen does not display well downscaled images ^^

lol Mach 1 is already a big deal for me on moa forward just did a 61 run with 41 perfect zones but I messed up that first corner on my 2nd subsonic lap and lost a huge 30 shield :/
I think I'm able to go for zone 65-67 but I need to get used to mach1 on this track to be able to go for zeus, anyway 80 zones here sounds insane

    Congratulations PS, a monumental effort.

I've had a little blast on Metropia the last few days and can get to about zone 64 but don't seem able to do enough perfect laps through super phantom and zen. That corner onto the mag strip always seems to get me. I am obviously not the Problem Solver though so will leave that to the expert !!

Hidden 2nd platinum trophy in the next all-new WO game (in addition to the platinum received for obtaining all trophies):

Problem Solved: Reach zone 125 on any track

    Seriously awesome zoning ProblemSolver.
Your skills remind me of that film about a boy whose a robot/alien. He plays this video game that looks like an 80's F1 game (pole position?), and goes so super fast he almost breaks the game.
