    Default Zone Zeus

I swear to god this trophy is out to get me.

I'm nearing 30 times hitting zone 69, and its getting to the point where i can CONSISTANTLY hit zone 69... then it all goes haywire and I die.

Hell even Zico was easier than this

this was more or less a vent post, because seeing those numbers come up so often is really starting to **** me up the wall... not to mention i STILL haven't broken 70, and i've been practicing at least 5 times a day, every day for the last month...

starting to drive me a little crazy...

Other than 'stay off the wall' are there any good tips... like... oh... skipping 5 or so zones?

Those coloured lines on the track. Focus on them as if they were the actual walls of the track.
    Keep at it.
Focus on something else than the fact you've been stuck at 69.

    You'll get it soon

Dude, you are practicing far too much! Four runs a day are sufficient.
And if you don't succeed with those four runs, then you won't do it within
the next runs either (most likely).

PS: And please, don't open up a new thread for each headache you got
    from WipEout. Thx.

Trying turning the music off, may help you focus better.

    @XBARNSTERX:
Doing only four runs is what works best for me, at least. Usually, the (my)
first run is quite good, but the second one isn't. The third one is the best
one most of the time, and the fourth one is simply just another try.

    @Darkdrium777:
    as a preventive
(most of the time it starts off like xxShivenxx did -- "... this was more or
    less a vent post ..."
    . Well actually, it's a vent thread.)

I'm stuck at 64-66..though i just never put the effort into getting this trophy until recently (last couple of days).

Same thing with Zico, which i got last night after a few tries...

But i tell ya...those last 15 zones seem to just creep by and drag out...lol
But soon enough with more practice i'm sure i will get it...though i'm not one to desperately obtain all possible trophies, but with WOHD, its just a gratifying set to obtain.

1st time i hit Zone75, this is what i did.

Dimm the TV to a lower brightness setting, becomes less distracting.

As the W3SE HUD is better and less distracting with all that **** on the screen.

Hope this might help you out.

Be kind to your controller as well Spece2goin. If you break them they cost a heap to replace. lol. Keep practicing.

Something I found hindered me was that when I hit the walls at zone 60+ I would start to panic and it would lead to more mistakes. If you hit a wall just try and get to the middle of the track asap and don't let it bother you.

I'd also get excited when the woman says "zone 70 clear". You know then its only 40 seconds away.

But as others have said its just practice practice practice. The colours of supersonic are beautiful (on forward anyway, pretty dull on reverse) and well worth making the effort to get there.

I agree that turning the sound off: the first time you do it just forget about enjoying it, just get it done and appreciate the colour when you get there.

After that you can crank the sound up to max and enjoy the ride even more

Way I first cracked the barrier was to pause the game on the straight leading into the new lap at zone 60. Drink a glass of water, blink to get moisture back on my eyes, let me heartrate get back down. Then go back for the last leg of the run feeling refreshed. It takes a long time and it mentally wears you down. Taking a break helps.

I would not consider to turn off the music as long as your favorite tracks are
playing. Of course, I also tried to run without music but it doesn't work for me.
All of my current records were done with music turned on.

Well, the real power of music is that it triggers emotions. Given these emotions
and the right rhythm will definitely increases your mental power. And at some
instances you really feel unbeatable if everything is in place -- no matter what
    zone you are currently onto.
