    Default V1.40 tomorrow!

    Hi Wipeout Zoners,

I just thought you guys should be among the first to know - we're releasing a new patch for WipEout HD. V1.40 will be available TOMORROW at 5pm (UK time, Wednesday 6th May)!

So, just boot up the game after that time and you will be prompted as usual.

It fixes the annoying stutter during online races, which I'm sure will please you all. We have had the fix internally for a while now but every patch has to go through a lengthy QA process which I'm sure you can understand.

Thanks for your patience and for playing, see you online,

    Paul.

    All of studio Liverpool

1.40 patches for Japan came! The freeze during a race is relaxed.
Some Japanese players return to online in this.

    Thank you!!

What about patching the QA process, too?

I'm very excited to see what you guys have taken out of the ZONE mode
with this patch. Btw; Where is the awesome synthesizer of MOA THERMA
gone, the one inside the tunnel after the overpass? ...

    Anyways, keep going!

    Cool

That takes out those irritating micro freezes and starting race **** ups. Great.

Just leaves the Vista pads and lag. But im cool with that for the time being. Got other **** on my mind atm.

    Good news though

Very nice. Good to know you guys are taking this all in. I guess your QA has been lengthened since the last patch eh?
