Default Did SL change the teams BIO?

    Hi there fellows!

I was observing my Wipeout games and decided to pick W30 as I usually do this with my games because I love to see the manuals and artwork of the games, specially WO.

Anyway... I started reading the teams BIOs on the W3O manual and noticed something strange:

Piranha was established in 2060 (37 years before they launched their prototype in WO2097!!!) but in wipeout-game.com it appears 2097 as the year they were established, which makes more sense...

Feisar has 2017 but again the website is different, showing 2036!
The same happens with ALL the teams!

    So, what happened!??

i think is because, they don not have explained the story in a whole, omiting some important details, this can cause some points of confusion...

for what i know piranha initially ( in the original WO time ) was a braking systems company based in china , feisar and auricom models uses piranha's braking systems by the time, then evolved into a much larger company , developed its first own prototypes by the 21 century '90 and then ( by the w3o time ) moved to brazil...

anout feisar, reported as enstabilished in 2017 i think or :
A- they have confused the ag-sys date with the feisar one
B- or in fact , this isn't much known but ag-sys initially born in europe by the hands of belmondo then moved in japan by the time the first WO racing league was enstabilished , this void left, breed to the creation of feisar, so speaking in a sense ag-sys and feisar was born from the same " mother ", from the same conseguences of events...

remember, the series as a whole kind of changed hands a bit when Fusion came out... That's when things started getting inconsistent and screwed up.

Every future racing series has this - Extreme-G retconned it's entire backstory in every game and re-imagined it. XG3 was supposed to be set in the 27th century in something, then XGRA comes out - it's set in 2080 but 5 teams from XG3 are carried over. WTF?

Wipeout has been much more consistent when it comes to the game's canon.

I wasn't aware that WipEout teams had that much of a backstory

    Fix'd

Unreal (FPS) also has this problem nowadays, where facts don't quite match up with what was said before. Especially with UT3's story

It's like everytime a new producer or director or whatever gets hold of Superman or Batman.
