Right now, I have 44. I just can't do these 3. Any tips?
1.Boost Starter
Obtain the most Boost Starts in a Tournament.
2.Shoot to Win
Shoot past first place and win by firing a single weapon.
3.Low Lap Winner
Win an eliminator event while completing the least laps.
It's not a new one. It's number 46 in the post that is in the beginning of this thread. I tried to get the "Boost to Victory"-badge yesterday but I kept getting other badges instead, which I think is the most disturbing thing about these badges. You manage to do exactly what the badge require you to do (in this case being in second place in a Zone Battle event and then boost to win) but instead you keep getting other simpler badges that you already have like 50 of.

I think some are a bit buggy, I didn't actually do what it said to do. I started in first place and lapped the only other pilot on the track twice, at no point in the event was he in first, he was still at zone 14 when I finished. Interesting thing though, I was the only one on the podium, so he obviously quit before it showed up.

Getting awarded the badges, even if you did everything correctly to achieve the badge, is so very random.
I think I had only needed one pre PS3 dying on me, the saved game data I loaded back up in the repaired PS3 was missing a good few though.
Best to copy your latest HD's game save data to a USB stick if you don't want to lose your badges like I did.
Yeah some of them are a bit weird, like 'Fastest Lap' being awarded to the last finisher all the time.
Apart from that I do think there is some kind of ranking as far as badges concerned i.e. if you fulfil more than one of the criteria you will be awarded with the most prestigious badge. Not sure what the rankings are, only that 'Pristine' seems to be the best, followed by 'Time to Spare' then 'Successful Pacifist' and 'Speed Pad Hunter'. Something along those lines at least
I wonder how you're supposed to get the turbo booster badge. I'm on level 39 and haven't picked it up yet; even though I'm the kind of player that typically only likes to use turbos and avoids weapons unless they're particularly helpful.
Yea try not to come first haha. Come Back King is another easy one, race against easy opponents so you've got plenty distance from them then destroy yourself on the last lap and still finish first.
n°4 : set up a tourney with utter noobs and lose to not get a higher priority badge I guess
n°5 : I had it once. ZB and win with the other guy NOT boosting AT ALL
n°18 : ^^
n°25 : spam a ZB
n°40 : eliminator exclusive
But it's not worth it anyway. No one can see your badges (and those one aren't fun to get) and they will be erased as soon as your save is corrupted. Which happens.
Hehe, since yeldar linked this, i had to check my own stats, might've been mentioned before, but "most boosts" description is as follows; "Activate the most boosts."
and a big bump while we're at it, i still have quite a few to collect it seems, but that's mostly because i don't play the other modes too much ^^
and lol, this rare "turbo booster" badge, i have 40 of them LOL

Old thread, but I am lacking 1 badge (aside from Elminator and Zone). I cannot seem to get the "most boost starts" badge. I think that Unbeatable trumps it, because every time I play a tournament and win all the races, I can tell that I get the most boost starts in a race, because I whiz past the other racers from last place. Do you have to throw a race in order to get this badge? It is driving me crazy!
I've also noticed that "Time To Spare" seems to trump Pristine, because I've been able to win races before without barrel rolling or taking damage, and I was unpleasantly surprised to get "Time to Spare." I have Time to Spare badges to spare. Anyone want 694 of them?
I think I can confirm Most Boosts is Most Zone Boosts. I've performed that once, and seen it a few times. Though its description simply says "Activate the most boosts". It's probably way too late to update, and this is a REALLY old thread, but still.
