    Lightbulb Die Hard League

Hello, I present you my new league, the Die Hard League (thanks kanar for the name).
It's a kind of Avalon, but with weapons! It's forbidden to absorb any weapons, even to cancel an auto-pilot!
In order to prevent your reflexes to press O before a pad for example, you will need to go in settings paddle before an Die Hard event, and put the Absorb function on the button... Select? R3 since update 1.30

Next event, thirsday 16 april, 20.30 GMT +1 (London) or 21.30 GMT +2 (West Europ)

    (Social group created)

This looks like an interesting idea. I doubt I would survive more than a second in the AGS or Feisar but I like to give new stuff a try. So count me in for the first one.

That is very interesting, what happened if I accidently pressed a `O` button?, that means I`m disqualifed!

It's why you have to set your paddle : absorb = Select button

I imagine that with absorb assigned to the select button, the O button would return to its default. So if you press it accidentally on purpose, then you will immediately self destruct and respawn in hell. Either that, or nothing would happen, it's 50-50.

No no, the O button don't work, no function on this button. We've test this tournament last thursday with leungbok, Wotan, ExpitariuS, Bonake, Epsilon Darkdrium & Xtriko, good racing, no cheats, and "contender eliminated" twice par lap!

This will leave no room for BR's in the other hand, it sounds like my usual day to day online failure.

No BRs, no absorbtion, more explosion... new racing to death gameplay. Great idea. I'll do my best to join one of this event in a near future.

This definitely seems more like my kind of event I'll never make it because of the time difference but still, it sounds fun.

Kaori, this idea sounds really fun ... something like a merge of Killzone2 and Wipeout, a 'bloody' aka 'shreddy' feast ... i applied for the usergroup, please accept, and see you on track latest in March.

I've mentioned this in the news.wpa newsletter.

This is a brilliant idea. I'll totally be there on the 5th.
