Default Hard to find Wipeout game..

What do you think is the hardest to find Wipeout game out of the entire series?
I'm posting this in the W30SE area because I believe W30 Japanese edition is the hardest to find. What do you think?

I'll need to look through the collections when I get home, but I believe that the Japanese Wipeout XL for the saturn was the hardest to find

W3SE is very hard to find. In years gone by I'd stop at game shops in every town I went to just to see if I could find it and pick it up for folk on WipEoutZone.

I eventually gave up on trying, because it was just so incredibly rare to find a copy that wasn't the W3SE/Destruction Derby double pack. It could be that the J version is rare on these shores, too, but that's hardly surprising.

It's only just struck me that it'll be ten years this year since W3 came out - nine since W3SE, so it's no wonder they're hard to find.

True but I had great difficulty finding it in Japan. It just seems to come up very rarely on eBay even when including the Japan area.

I once saw a Japanese WO3 on Yahoo Auctions for Y1950. Seemed like a lot of money, so I bought the North American one for $5.00 instead.

If anyone wants one at that price (over $20 now; high yen!), I'll keep an eye out.

W3SE is really really really really ****ing hard too find^e9999999. I think i might put mine in a locked case now. I have absolute no idea where you could find a NTSC or even a PAL one.

Unfortunately, one can't find an NTSC W3SE at all; that game version is a PAL region exclusive.

Bought W3SE (pal) about 3 weeks ago off Ebay for £9.99

My memory thought it was better graphically than it is.

I really need a way to play this outside of PS1 emulation (with the disc of course, nothing illegal). Just for the retro tracks at least.

Japanese Saturn WO (not XL) for a mere Y340 plus shipping; anyone want?

This person wants ten thousand yen (he probably won't be getting it) for this sealed original Wipeout:

No, he knows it's the original WO, not XL. I just mentioned it here because it's very cheap and I wondered if the original WO is as desirable or hard to find as XL is.
