Great stuff, Connavar. I think that ranking countries by the top 4 or 5 would be the best way, as it allows more racers to contribute to the national ranking. Or maybe top 3 would be better, as some countries may not have strength in depth.

I really like the function to rank your own times by points, to see where you are weakest, as you said earlier. This helps me decide which tracks I should play and practice next. According to your rankings, all of them need work though.......

Yeah thanks again for all this Connavar. The site provoked a frenzy of activity across the boards last week, but it's died down a bit now. And it's got me playing Zone again, which I've been really enjoying.

The ranking by nationality is a good idea but at the moment it's a bit meaningless since most countries are severely under-represented relative to France and Britain. One thing it does show though is that the French definitely have the edge on the British!

It's a little bit weird having those people that haven't entered a country in yet being ranked, and in second.

Also, in terms of grouping, you should put NZ with Australia.

Thanks, yeah it made me play some zones as well, because I had noticed I had a
terrible score on some of the tracks, was a lot of fun redoing them!

The international ranking is not finished yet, I will consider the best 4-5
times for each country in each category, for the overall national ranking.

At the moment it doesn't really have a meaning except from being fun.

Yeah that's why we need to find who they are

Grouping NZ-AU has been added now, all we need is a NZ player to see it!

    Thanks Connavar, great site!

I didn't read anything about Rob adding HD records on the Zone, so first of all, thank you Rob!
I don't know if this has been suggested either, but maybe you two could set up a system so synch your records. Just a thought...

Oh My God! blackwiggle, congrats, you deserve a prize!

Add all your times yeldar, the goal is to see where you need work and where you don't.
Average will be low initially, but then you'll work on your weaknesses

Bloody ages,272 times to get right, but while going through them while online a had a whack at a few TT's and knocked a few seconds off a few of them.

Missing a time completely for one multiplayer ,sebenco reverse venom, and all the ones where I'm using other than Icarus or AG I could better, actually there are a LOT I could better, just got to pull my finger out and do them.

Keeping track of them, especially the multiplayer ones is going to be a PITA.

I have put my Multiplayer Phantom times in. Bit of an issue with the lap times on some of them. I tried to edit them but they would not change. I will try again later.

Connavar, imho you should keep the nationals thing like it is actually, and maybe another ranking with top 5 players if you want, but i like best the actual one.

Wow chboing, you've been very hard at work. You've added over 8000 records to the site in the last day or so, lol. After I made my latest update to my own scores last night I went to the ALL / RECENTLY ADDED page and was surprised at finding that I had to go back 7 pages to find the record I had added literally only moments before! I think you're using some kind of program, no?

Either that or you have some superhuman inputting skills...

HUGE thanks to chboing for spending all that energy in front of your ps3 and laptop.
Now with more data, global rankings make more sense than ever!

I don't know about you, but I've quickly become "addicted" to that website,
each time I improve a time, I post it and I'm curious to see how it modifies
my overall rank and so on...
Of course if you're already #1 it's not that motivating...

Also we've been working together on many ideas to improve the website, and I think
the next upgrades are going to be very nice!

Yeldar: anti-cheating measures have now been added, so you won't see any
    glitched time anymore!

I think the reason for the sudden increase in new additions might have something to do with me.

I put in ALL my times for absolutely EVERYTHING [272 different times] and it made me overall Number 1 ranked, and Number 1 on about 40-50 different other things using the various filters.

People just want their records back I guess or realize they might have a chance to knock me off Number 1 spot.

blackwiggle: I'm not far behind, I'll try to reclaim the #1 spot tonight

There are 5532 different players on those rankings, 5387 of those being without a flag!
The ones visible in the international rankings are the important players, able to shift
the balance of power for their countries ... that is once we know their country!

I can't see myself lasting very long at number 1

But it's bragging rights at the moment.
