Too many connections? Maybe someone tried to hack the website or something.

Hey Connavar, can you add a space between the amount of zones reach
and perfect zones, i.e. '... / ...', within the extra field? Similar with Detonator.
Looks more pleasing that way. Thx m8.

Hey Conna, I think I found a glitched comment here (pic in attachment).

That comment was posted 4 months ago and clearly made in jest, as signified by the "" It is true, you need to be very patient in SR mode and wait for many turbos, that's all. What's really the issue

The issue is I'm your first fan dude. So please keep going with your great comments on the game and on all the pilots around here, keep insulting my mates, as you did with Leungbok before, and now on the new Pirhapac vid on youtube, showing your real face to everyone (best vid ever). As I said I'm your n°1 fan, remember, the one with a HUGE internet ego (as you described me). So be assured I'll, we'll, never give you a break, watching your every move.

Am I wrong for thinking that Pirhapac was just goading Rezatron on that video of his, calling him a quitter. The way he PMs he reminds me of that chyroo 007 or whatever he was called, I really hope it wasn't him using a different account. Don't know the full story here, but both parties growing up might help the situation a lot.

If the guy quitted (if it was a connexion issue, it was easy to explain that), it's not an insult, it's a legitimate answer !

Goading is exactly what it is, whether he quit or not. As far as I can tell from the caption on the video, he raced one race and then left the game. Since when is that a crime? It's a game. Also, if people think others are being arrogant, then I fail to see how this kind of thing is going to change their ways. It's actually just indulging in it further. Surely it's just better to ignore it.

I maintain that it takes two sides to sustain this kind of thing, and as long as both sides are willing to carry on with it, they're both as bad as each other, and therefore as hypocritical as each other. The sooner people realise this, the sooner it can be put aside and we can all get on with the enjoying the game.

Connavar puts a lot of effort into his site. It's there for everyone to use to augment the game and increase enjoyment. I for one wouldn't want to see it reduced to yet another outlet for petty juvenile bickering.

You're right Sat, but I think we all have a juvenile part in us, we play videogames !
The website of Connavar is awesome, everyone can find interesting competition, at his level, and compare the times or points on each track with best players or just friends.

I enjoy register my records, even if I am not in the top ten, and I find some determined opponents. Like you Sat, why do you increase all these speed lap ? I'll catch you one day, I will !

I do it because I enjoy improving my skills and the site gives me a very clear way of measuring that improvement. It looks like we have plenty of time left to improve at HD now anyway. That seems to be the only silver lining to the recent bad news. Once again, thank god for Connavar's site, which will always maintain the history of our achievements on WipEout HD, even if the official servers don't.

We should skim over the official records again. Who knows what the next
news has to offer for us....

@Connavar: Wellington89's Vineta K ZONE record got delete from the official
leaderboard. How should we handle such a situation? It seems like that if one
doesn't race again on a given track for about 10 - 12 months, it's record gets
    deleted.

I plan to keep all Wellington's records of course.
Too bad we don't have AHH-QUADZILLA's records anymore.

    For sure.

But a new player maybe wondering about seeing another one ranked within
the leaderboard of your page but not on the official one. I thought about
some kind of indicator to inform others that this is possible, since the
problem will worsen as time goes by.

I thought all Wellington or AHH-QUADZILLA had to do to get their times back on the leaderboards was to Sync their records again. Ironic as Wellington first brought it to our attention.

Maybe any discussion about it should be posted there.

    Yep, this was the thread.
Well, I don't think it works that way as you said, since Wellington has
synchronized his records back in October 2009, at least. He even did a
rank 1 score on TDR Reverse in ZONE mode this time. It might be possible
that one as to touch a given track, doing at least one run, within one
year to keep the record on the board. I'm curios whether my VK record gets
deleted as well within the next two month.

So the leader gets 1000 points, and the other players get less, depending on
your time compared to the leader time, I tweaked the parameters (namely the 9
one) to have a bad score (about 500) when you're doing 20 sec instead of 19 for
    the leader.
So the formula is the same for Zone mode, except "time" is the score? Do the number of perfect and total zones cleared factor in at all? I'm curious because when I go to "Matrix" and click "Time" for Zone mode I get what look like times that may or may not be in proportion to the zone scores.

Yeah I think so, I forgot.

About global rankings, the formula will be modified soon, again the goal is to
have a clear picture of who the best players are (and I'm gonna lose some
    ranks in the process!)

Will it change ranks within speed classes or just the overall rank across all modes? Basically, am I gonna have to claw my way to third on Phantom all over again? I only just got there.
