Barrel Rolling techniques
If you don't want to do left-right-left because you're too tired (with the stick
or with the d-pad), then just do a circle, if the circle first goes through
"down" your ship will pitch up a bit, otherwise will pitch down
(sometimes it's useful to BR while pitching down).
Yesterday, I was doing several BRs this way without even noticing.
I noticed many people complaining about them, so I thought I would share...
Also: often when I failed a BR, I thought the game was broken but in fact it's
because I was only doing left-right (missing a command), so to avoid this it's
best to try a left-right-left-right, it has more chance to succeed.
Oh yeah last thing, when doing BRs with the sticks, you don't need to push it
completely left or right, just a bit is enough, I think I miss 1 BR out of 100
that way (not taking the near-impossible ones into account).
Hope it helps!

that's brilliant! top sharing! after a while i just end up going left-right-left-right-left-right-left-right, only to realise my ship doesn't exist anymore
now if only i could stop the accidental ones that lose me energy at the most antisocial times...

Lol, Connavar, how do you know how you did what you did if you didn't notice it?!
I kid, sounds interesting, and I think I actually did this once.
But man, if you get tired doing BRs than you should take a rest! This game can be tasking, and playing 3 hours of Zone with friends than watch everyone bleed from their eyes is dangerous. But funny!
Will give it a try Connavar

Thanks a lot dude, thats a brilliant technique. I totally hate BR, and anything that will make that stupid technique easier is a plus for me

Thank you so much for sharing this information. BR is something I still can't pull of consistantly and it frustrates me to a point where I become almost angry
I look forward to trying this when I get back to some HD
