that is weird lag, but how many perfect laps? I hate you. Seriously, great control and concentration, you make it look easy, it isn`t.

Thanks for the comments guys. At Dark: Well maybe this lag gave me an advantage but that it ensured my victory is a bit over the top. I still have to fly the whole race and not making too many mistakes!

At Lunar: yes I love you too

Wow, very smooth race! Even if the lag would have made it impossible to actually bump the other ships, you were passing by every one of them (but one) extremely cleanly! I know how much I hate it to have a bulk in front of me, because passing them cleanly is so hard to do, and it usually messes up my raceline because I concentrate on the other ships and not the track. But you stayed extremely calm and controlled - bravo

Ohh that's what happened here. I thought the game had glitched when it told me I got second, I wasn't even sure if others could see the 'mistake' I was seeing. But that insane beginning explains it. It actually looks very amusing.

It also resolves the question of the 'super' fast starts that were being discussed elsewhere. They're definitely just lag.

Heh that start pretty much sums up how I feel when playing on-line. I usually nail that turbo-start though - it's just the rest of the race that's a problem

    Truly great racing Mad-Ice!

More, more, more vids. Some interesting races with a Chenghou Project Reverse shortcut, an overtake in the final corner, heavy damage because of weapons everywhere, critical energy and lots of fun, enjoy and please add comments.

Mad-Ice, you should know that these videos make it easy for people to learn your racing line (and everyone's else)! Make you wonder when will someone come along and lay down mines or bombs carefully

    Not that I imply anything.

The problem is you have to be infront of him to bomb him.

Thanks, Mad Ice, these are the tracks I really wanted to see. And seeing more weapons races is great.

Superb reactions to take the Chenghou cut so soon after picking up the turbo, but I guess in a TT you would normally cut even more track.

I will have a really good look at the videos later on.

Yes i agree Lunar, Mad-Ice wears very well his name to try the "turbo shortcut" of chengou in a race online
well i'll bring my poor contribution to the avalon with some vidéos.
Don't compare with Mad-Ice's videos, mine are low quality and unworthy for youtube (because of my very old tv and the low skills of the pilot, lol). But enjoy anyway

"....wonder when will someone come along and lay down mines or bombs carefully

    Not that I imply anything."

"The problem is you have to be infront of him to bomb him."

Someone could be in front of him by his second lap. And their first.

    Not that I'm implying anything.

Lol at Lunar and Lance, naughty thoughts, I do like!

At Leungbok: I just watched Sebenco Descent Very nice race mate If you try to use pitch down, you will see your times drop even more!

Just watched Chenghou Project Reverse: First place and a pretty clean race. I could hear you wanted to say: "putain" when the BRs wouldn't work!

Nice fight for first with Kaori on Moa Therma Reverse. You must really love the Mission Impossible tune?

Ubermall, consistent race. I think you already know it, but to be sure, you can use your turbo just after the hill when you are already going low, hit the turbo and fly over the chicane landing with the boost from the BR just before the two speedpads before the next chicane.

Very nice Sol2 reverse race, winning everytime from Chaos80 thumbs up! But whoaaaa, please no more Mission Impossible tune.

Metropia Reverse: Auch, respawn after the turbo, but luckely it worked the next time.

Moa Therma reverse; lost it on the magstrip in lap 3, but gained your control back and you had a good fight with Kanar! Very nice vids mate.

To Mad-Ice, loool, mate and thanks for the advices, i'll try that as soon as possible.
It was my "avalon mission impossible day" (last time i use that tune, i swear )
You can't imagine the amount of "putain", when those f$*^%g brs are not working (i had to censored some vidéos)
You have noticed how kaori & kanar are pushing my ship on the walls, very sad from french friends

Great racing Leungbok. Superb battle on Chenghou Rev and with Kanar on Moa rev, very tense. Some ramming action was caught on tape, but I`m sure it was all accidental I think you nailed some parts of Moa better in the other race, but maybe the tension was getting to you and that was a very good watch.

Metropia, crazy stuff.... I don`t think you will find a shortcut there, but nice try.

Really clean Sol reverse. I think I just learned last night how to take that horrible left hander at the top of the hill where the ship always jumps. I`m doing the same sort of line as you anyway.

Are some of your friends signing in and out all the time to try to distract you?

great flying, I can`t give you any piloting advice, but I can advise you to get a few new songs on your playlist. Actually, maybe keep it because mission impossible works surprisingly well

    Lol, Lunar
You're right no shortcut at this place, but it was a nice try yes
For sol2 R try to br on the hard left hander, it can helps you to shorten the turn and you will have the benefit of a boost.
You too you noticed that my pretended "friends" are always trying to disturb my concentration ! and they say that i'm paranoïd !!
The mission impossible tune was fun during the avalon event, but after the race looking at the vidéos i found that boring too Don't care, more music next time.

I've been testing a few different methods of recording races and managed to get a race on YouTube. I used a camera that wasn't really designed for film but it turned out OK, something went wrong with the breaking up though. The track is Chenghou Project with Wotan, Wellington, me and some others racing. Wotan won and Wellington had an unlucky elimination at the end.
Feel free to criticise the camera quality and my (not so good) piloting skills:
