@Yeldar and Cipher: Yes, just pitching up. This double is really easy to do once you find the trick.
You must have a diagonal line before pitching instead a straight one.
For example, fly on the left side of the track, then turn a little to the right just before pitching up and you'll be able to do the double really easily.
Getting enough air will no more be a problem this way.
I hope you understand my explanation and that it will help you Cipher .

I found the best WipEout music EVER. Hands down. Oh gosh. Just bought the album and tossed it on WipEout and pretty much as soon as it started I was blown away. Some of it even sounds like stuff from Fusion!

EDIT: Okay, guys, be honest. Each video has around 100 views after being online about 12 hours. Usually my WipEout videos don't even hit 20 views in their lifetime! How many people on average from here actually watch these videos? Is this normal whenever people post stuff here or did I hit some magical combination of skill and music that's made random people who don't even know what WipEout is look?

Yes, it is. There was a general consensus a while back that any track-skipping shortcut that if executed flawlessly would gain more than 1s per lap at Phantom speed, should be counted as a glitch and invalid for competitive purposes.
Gentlemen's agreement of course, people are only as good as their word, but that was the gist of it.
