How did you capture the video from the PS3?

Videos are interesting to see how others play, I am also curious how to get vids of the races on a PS3.

Darkdrium777, the music you played on that video is smashing

Very fast paced and very wipeout. Nice overtaking and side shifting moves by the way.

Late reply - the PS3, using svideo, is plugged into a tv tuner on my computer. I use virtualdub to capture the video - audio comes in through the line in - I have an RCA to 3.5mm stereo plug. I sacrifice framerate and resolution for the sake of recording however - svideo only goes at 25 (or 29.97, depending where you live) fps I think and at SD only.

Here is another set of videos, a Friday night Australia vs. New Zealand tournament. Scores are still being calculated, but Australia almost certainly wins.

I'm not sure what everyone else was doing, but I was in a free-for-all mode

I'd be up for a France vs. Australia/maybe even NZ tournament. Although whichever side hosts will have an advantage (weapon pads have a delay when playing someone in the EU here).

We already spoke of that with Kaori Xmas hollydays should be a good period. And maybe a parallel tournament on pulse.

So sorry for the massive delay with these Avalon videos. 720p is best for watching these.

Anulpha Pass Reverse - Weapons On

Anulpha Pass Reverse - Weapons Off

    Ubermall Forward - Weapons Off

Chenghou Project Reverse - Weapons On

Moa Therma Forward - Weapons On

Moa Therma Forward - Weapons Off

The last three videos are from the same race as some of Woopzilla's videos, but from my view.

    Excellent job, mate.

Just watched the Chenghou Rev alongside my video of that race.. resized both windows to put them side by side. Really cool to have a far greater understanding of what's going on all over the track.

Here's a video I just uploaded for the Speed Lap Challenge thread: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpIjw0rbGgM

Will head back to speed lapping now in hopes of recording a closer time to my record.

Default The legendary Bling Brigade from May 25th, 2012

This thread is a collection of all videos and infos of the Bling Brigade from May 25th, 2012. That brigade was [I think not only] for me the best Bling Brigade up to date. Lot's of cool & fun stuff happened there. And since Cipher and I recorded lots of videos, I think it's best to keep the collection in a separate thread.

First of all, the guys who were involved:
    Cipher, docfo4r, Feydius, gemjem66, huxley23, jaminjack, JFthebestJan, Liod19, LukeJB82, PrincessShay, Rennfisch, Szakinta & WarioIIDX

    Invitation & warm up
    Contenders: Cipher, Feydius, LukeJB82, WarioIIDX
    Winner: WarioIIDX

Cipher view -> The invitation to the text chat & lobby in fast forward and the warmup race.

    1. Vineta K - The Massacre
    Contenders: Cipher, docfo4r, Feydius, gemjem66, Liod19, LukeJB82, Szakinta, WarioIIDX
    Winner: Liod19

    Cipher view
docfo4r view -> Eliminations-counter; Liod19 annoys for the first time.

    2. Anulpha Pass - Trophy Race
    Contenders: Cipher, docfo4r, Feydius, gemjem66, Liod19, LukeJB82, Szakinta, WarioIIDX
    Winner: Liod19

    Cipher view
    docfo4r view

    3. Sebenco Climb - Lonely Race/Lag-Hax
    Contenders: Cipher, docfo4r, Feydius, gemjem66, Liod19, LukeJB82, Szakinta, WarioIIDX
    Winner: docfo4r

Cipher view -> Watch Cipher becoming a victim of the latency errors in online races.
docfo4r view -> Not a single contender visible in that run, a lonely race...

    4. Moa Therma - The Photo-Finishes
Contenders: Cipher, docfo4r, Feydius, Liod19, LukeJB82, Szakinta, WarioIIDX
    Winner: Feydius

Cipher view -> Photo finish of the first 4 guys.
    docfo4r view -> Photo finish of #5 & #6.

    5. Metropia - Karma's A Bitch
    Contenders: Cipher, docfo4r, Feydius, Liod19, LukeJB82, WarioIIDX
    Winner: Liod19

Cipher view -> WarioIIDX's usage of mini guns.
docfo4r view -> No chance to catch up with Liod19.

    6. Chenghou Project - A Wild docfo4r Appeared/Chenghou Crazy
Contenders: Cipher, docfo4r, Feydius, Liod19, LukeJB82, PrincessShay, WarioIIDX
    Winner: PrincessShay

Cipher view -> Cipher's race ended early, by docfo4r.
docfo4r view -> Feydius random explosion; Annoying Liod19 again; Aircrash.

    7. Ubermall - Eliminations vs. Quakes/That Luck
Contenders: Cipher, docfo4r, Feydius, JFthebestJan, Liod19, LukeJB82, PrincessShay, WarioIIDX
    Winner: docfo4r

Cipher view -> Liod19 is annoying to death!
docfo4r view -> Eliminations or Quakes, who wins?

    8. Sol2 - Rennfisch Pops In/Feydius Pops In
Contenders: Cipher, docfo4r, Feydius, JFthebestJan, Liod19, PrincessShay, Rennfisch
    Winner: JFthebestJan

Cipher view -> See how Rennfisch is messing up Ciphers entire race.
docfo4r view -> See how Feydius is adapting Liod19's style.

    9. Talon's Junction - No Video Material
Contenders: Cipher, docfo4r, Feydius, Liod19, PrincessShay, Rennfisch

Contenders: Cipher, docfo4r, Feydius, huxley23, jaminjack, Liod19, PrincessShay, Rennfisch
    Winner: PrincessShay

Cipher view -> Some luck in that race.
docfo4r view -> Parking block; Mysterious frame; Lots of bad luck

    12. Tech De Ra - Too Close For Comfort/P[l]assby
Contenders: Cipher, docfo4r, Feydius, huxley23, jaminjack, Liod19, PrincessShay, Rennfisch
    Winner: PrincessShay

    Cipher view -> A picture of a flying docfo4r
docfo4r view -> Bomb out & in; Close call with a plasma ball

    13. Vineta K - Bonus Race
Contenders: Cipher, docfo4r, Feydius, huxley23, jaminjack, Liod19, PrincessShay, Rennfisch
    Winner: jaminjack

docfo4r view -> Liod19 annoying one last time [at 00.45].

    So we have some winners:
    5x PrincessShay
    3x Liod19
    2x docfo4r
    1x Feydius
    1x jaminjack
    1x JFthebestJan
    1x WarioIIDX

I will try to create a HD-DVD with all the races & infos next week when I am at school. Everybody who would like to keep the memory on a disc, just PM me with your adress and I will send you a copy. As long as its not the half Wipeoutzone, it will be free of charge. Will also upload it to a filehost then.
But please be patient since I can't access to the internet in my school week. I'll then get back in touch with you guys next Friday or Saturday...
