I just started to play in zone mode with won't get fooled again by the who, it's perfect for me I find it uplifting and it just last the time you need to reach subsonic but you'd better turn down audio effects

Personally I don't think it suits WipEout 100% but I just found this music through Audiosurf radio. Good stuff

    Synthetic Sinergy

You may want to Google search the name though, as the links to DL the albums on their profile are dead/blocked.

Personally I think the original is better, the remix is just sped up a bit too much for my liking.

Custom playlists are one of the big draws of WipEout HD for me, even with my music taste

Here's a taste of a couple of playlists I use to play WipEout to:

    Kraftwerk - Tour De France
    New Order - Blue Monday
    FGTH - Two Tribes
Ride - Leave Them All Behind (inappropriate for me in online races )
    Rush - Animate
Gong - A Sprinkling Of Clouds
    Prodigy - Girls
    Jam And Spoon - Stella
    Jean Michel Jarre - Zoolook
    Jan Hammer - Crockett's Theme

In fact any NIN on any mode sounds good.

As my first WipEout HD soundtrack got wiped out (pun intended) when my PS3 died in the beginning of April, I decided to remake it and I use the same list with Burnout Paradise because I can't stand emo rock. So, without any further ado, here it is, sorry if the list is too long for the site, I've been on a little break from this site so I'm not quite sure if such a text dump is allowed.

The Essential Kickass Masterpieces is the humorous name of this unofficial soundtrack. Dun dun dunnn!

    Amon Tobin - Chomp Samba
Amon Tobin - Get Your Snack On
    Amon Tobin - Rhino Jockey
    AFX - Fenix Funk 5
    Aphex Twin - Didgeridoo
Autechre - Basscadet (just some dumb remixes in 'Tube, this is the original)
The Chemical Brothers - Three Little Birdies Down Beats
The Chemical Brothers - Chemical Beats (you all know this!)
    The Chemical Brothers - Saturate
The Chemical Brothers - Dust Up Beats (you all know this too!)
The Chemical Brothers - Loops of Fury (and this!)
The Chemical Brothers - Electronic Battle Weapon 4
Cold Storage - Canada (this you know!)
Cold Storage - Body in Motion (know you this!)
Daft Punk - Alive (didn't bother finding it from the huge live Alive dump)
    Fluke - Electric Guitar
    Fluke - Slid
    Fluke - Bullet (Bullion)
Fluke - Bubble (Speechbubble) (boo, didn't find it!)
    Fluke - Tosh (Gosh)
Fluke - Absurd (the one from Risotto album)
    Fluke - Atom Bomb
Fluke - V6 (again this is well known!)
    Fluke - Snapshot
    Fluke - My Spine
    Fluke - Switch/Twitch
The Future Sound of London - We Have Explosive (ring any bells, 2097ers?)
The Future Sound of London - Landmass (still ring any bells, 2097ers?)
The Future Sound of London - Papua New Guinea (Hybrid Mix) (ringin' bells, Fusioners?)
The Future Sound of London - Expander
The Future Sound of London - Speed Ball
Hong Kong Trash - Down the River (from Fusion of course)
Leftfield - Afro Ride (from the first one naturally)
    Leftfield - Phat Planet
    Leftfield - Double Flash
Luke Slater - Bolt Up (from Fusion, ya know)
The Orb - Toxygene (didn't find the original...)
    The Orb - Hell's Kitchen
    The Orb - Captain Korma
Orbital - P.E.T.R.O.L. (also known as Wipe Out in the first WipEout, slightly longer though)
Orbital - Know Where to Run (while the longer version is in my top 5 tracks EVER, the Wip3out version fits in better)
Orbital - Funny Break (One Is Enough) (Plump DJ's Remix) (from Fusion)
Orbital - Crash and Carry (can't find it...)
    Orbital - Way Out
    Orbital - Tension
    Orbital - Tootled
    Orbital - Beelzebeat
    Plaid - Last Remembered Thing
    Plaid - Tan Sau
Sasha - Xpander (c'mon, who doesn't know this?!)
Underworld - Tin There (familiar, eh?)
Underworld - Kittens (the longer Beaucoup Fish version)
    Underworld - Rowla
    Underworld - Dinosaur Adventure 3D
    Underworld - Beautiful Burnout
Venetian Snares - Szycag (this is actually a little joke since it's so MAD)
    µ-Ziq - Approaching Menace
    µ-Ziq - The Motorbike Track

Whew... and there it is. Running time: 5h51min32sec

I could try adding some more content from Squarepusher but that'll do juuust fine for now.
