Total music/video/lyrics fit
When I first saw the La Roux's video for "In for the Kill" at SingStar's OnlineStore, I thought: "Haven't I seen this before somwhere? Isn't there a distinct WipEoutish style to it somehow?
And it was, as you all can judge for yourself if you compare this WipEout Fusion image, with the video above at 1 min 4 sec.
(more pics here).
Also recommended is La Roux's last hit "Bulletproof" or "Shield Activated" as it is also known as in these circles...
(Incredible quality on the video btw).
I'm in for the kill any time with you guys, I'm doing it for fun, and this time baby, I'll be bulletproof! (freely rewritten after La Roux)

If it's not a recommendation for WipEout, but is a funny tune you'd like to share, then it's probably better of in one of the following threads.

This being the WipEout music thread and all...
Does any of you have any idea of why a certain track wouldn't play in WipEout?
It plays as it's supposed to in PS3's own music player. The track I'm trying to
listen in the game is "Troopers (Distrakt remix)" by Huoratron (I know, the original
is better but I can't find it anywhere!). Anyway, I was wondering if there's some
kind of a censor for artist and/or track names as to why it wouldn't play it.
Has anyone experienced similar?

to a point, yes! I uploaded my Miles Dyson mixes to the PS3 from CD, they work fine normally, but in game - half way through a choon, it starts to skip... thing is, there's no bloody CD in the machine as I'm running Wipeout HD FUry from Blu-Ray... wtf?

Are the tracks in .mp3 format? I think the PS3 has trouble reading others, so it's best to stick with that

O_BR, I believe there's already another thread for discussing technical problems related to the music tracks. Please post tech problems there where there will be the most thorough discussion of the problems and the most likely place to get a successful solution. This thread is for soundtrack playlist recs.

^Any chance on getting a link to that? Because I sure can't find a thread you're referring to,...
@Dark_Phantom_89: The track is in .mp3 format which is why I am wondering why it won't play while the others do.

If I could have given you the link, I would have. I definitely did not feel like searching for it myself since I've been sick for three days so far, and I also considered it likely that at least one or two of the people who have the PS3 and have to deal with this issue would have already given you the link by today. Could we please get this thread back on topic. If you really must, then start a new thread for your subject rather than disrupt this one.
"This being the WipEout music thread and all..."
There are many threads devoted to music here in the forums, and at least two on technical issues concerning HD/Fury. IIRC, your question has been specifically discussed in one of those threads. I know, however, that the search engine can sometimes deliver irrelevant references.
