As with the Pure and Pulse threads, this thread is to let everyone know when you're online and up for a game

I'll be grabbing it night of, and will be online as long as all the tracks are unlocked for racing, if not, I'm gonna be busy unlocking stuff for Arnaud's convention over the weekend!
Zone Pilot
Status doubtful for the launch date, I'll see about splitting the cost of the system + game + headset with a parent within the next two weeks. Keep in mind I have to keep school needs first, and Wipeout second. (God, why am I saying that?)

I'm going to buy this day one for sure. I tend to stay offline a little with new games, not sure i'll do the same with Wipeout HD. I'm too curious to che check how it works online

Not me!! I'll probably use the Pirahna, but if I get eliminated too often I might choose a ship with stronger sheild, that won't be icarus if things are as usual with the sheilds on it. I say pure speed may be not enoughI can see it now -- entire grids of online races populated by Icaras pilots.

oh yeah, i forgot to post about my my first race against some of you guys
Where i sucked
Had only about 3 races against Mad-Ice and leungbok. The second one was
start -> 1st corner -> second corner -> oh dear a bomb -> oh dear rockets -> oh dear missile.... -> and finally thanks for planting mines on my face....
spent the rest of the race clawing back to 4th.
Maybe next time ill try playing without it being on mute in a room full of people

Just had some really nice online races with 'Judus', including an 8-race tourney which reached its climax on the last race, Sol 2, where I beat him on the finish line by 0.01 seconds!!! Nice races mate!
...oh and sorry for putting a missile up your rear on the finish straight of Metropia to win the race... TWICE!

Sol2 finish was just fantastic. Couldn't believe the time when I saw it on the table after the race had finished. Nice one.

After a lot of time yesterday evening I've an online casual meeting with some wz members....
I remember Judus and my plasma friend Rapier Racer among others.
I'm not ready yet, but I'm very happy to find their mines and bomb on the nose of my ship...
