ye it's very good although don't recommend playing with a megaman fanatic in the room -- they get a bit gushy over the nostalgia

Hisho, you should arrange some games with the aussies and new zealanders when you finally get it. We're in the same time zone after all.

What does mean that last quote you show ? hope it's a misunderstanding from me cause it sounds weird ( stopping online after 1 year of existence)

Btw i am freakin happy for you Hisho, you gonna be part of that happily intense online chaos HD is.

Hope Japanese HD sales will be good

Every company has a right of service, or the ability to remove a service... so Sony could turn around tomorrow and remove the WipEout HD servers if they so choose to... or limit the service, eg: servers online between certain timeframes...

I personally have never read through any of the fine print on the games, but it would seem that a game in SCEJ eyes will be supported for a minimum of 1 year... (assumption would be the same for SCEE, SCEA, etc...)

After that time, if the game community has moved on and no one is playing online, they will provide notice that the online part will be removed and it will be offline only from then... it's just a cost saving function, if no one is playing, then that server can be used for a newer game that everyone is playing...

One of the reasons why only having a "remote servers" option for online is, in the long run, bad. An Ad Hoc option should always be available.
After all, you still can do multiplayer with 2097 more than ten years later but other games like Monster Hunter for the PS2 have lost multiplayer for ever.

All hail XLink-Kai,, the solution to this problem!
Provided you can somehow plug in the PS2 to your PC, I remember seeing a PS2 section in Kai... A frequent user, please correct me if I'm wrong.
