Sony has given some new dates today. Concerning the PSN Europe, we'll have:
March 2008: Pain
April 2008: Elefunk
May 2008: Echochrome
No WipEout in sight...
Sigh...
Either they're planning to release it soon and they haven't announced it yet, either we'll have to wait until June.

June you say?! Watching the trailer with the sixaxis in my hands is just too much to have to wait until June!

Well if i bace it on these facts it's going to be longer because wipeoue pulse on the PSP
had a playble demo released in mid last year and full game did not hit till november so my guess is August
I want it now damn it

I don't think pulse is a good basis for comparison...
Pulse was always meant to be a boxed retail product
HD is being released via the PSN store as a download. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if it doesn't get a playable demo at all.

Reason: the words "don't quote" and "the post above" also spring to mind! ;)

I never put faith in rumour and release dates. Remember how Windows Vista arrived about three years after it was supposed to?

I'm pretty sure there will be a demo online. As they did with Pulse.
The game is a PSN game only and I'm pretty sure Sony has high expectations of the online gaming part of WOHD.
I'm sure Sony want others to download the game and to push the PSN-Store. And the best and easy way to do so is a free demo.
This demo should have online play of course so the customer has an impression of what to expect from the full game.

Yeah makes sense give them one track and get em hooked, as if the video and picture releases of late aren't enough.

I wish SL weren't so cryptical about the release date, seeing as most of us are planning their PS3 purchase to coincide with wipEout HD's launch. We need a date to save our money for!
As the anticipation is rising, it's like waiting for Christmas without knowing the date
