yeah i finally gave Wip3out a break and bought 2097 and oh boy it's good. i've got gold medals for all arcade tracks and now i'm trying to do the first phantom challenge. oh odessa keys is a bitch of a track. the soundtrack is good and i love the weapon effects.[/i]

Weapon effects for 2097 are better than those in 3 with no doubt.

yeah i think Wip3out would have been even better if they kept the weapons the same in paticular Rockets and Missiles. the Quake is better.

True, being as fast sa a quake in phantom isn't very pleasant.
You have to love 2097 Plasma Bolt though. Much more technic involved, funnier grafics as well.

    Default Perfect

WIpeout 2097's weapons plus Wip3out's style with extra details rendered on PS2 = perfect...well it would be cool, in my mind. I feel a bit let down by the absence of The Designers Republic in Wipeout Fusion and yes, I've still not played it. I really hope Fusion isn't the last game in the series. The title has so much to live for!

    Default Practice makes perfect!

I just practiced Vostok Island on TT over and over again and then raced it on arcade mode to come out with a lovely, shiney Phantom medal!
