Will it be streamed live like E3? Or will there be some sort of recording of it?
Also, what does CET stand for? Anyone can translate for me in GMT +/- X? So I can make the correct calculations if it is streamed live
CET, as kanar explained:
-7 hours for Central time (Chicago, Dallas, Florence AL)
-6 hours for Eastern time (New York, Miami)
CET stands for Central European Time, so that's GMT+1. I don't think there's a livestream of it, since press conferences on this year's GC are held directly at the respective booths. I'll be sure to report as soon as I have internets after the presser.
Nice one mate. I'll be on this website via my mobile around 6pm. I'm hoping they would come out with a release date, come on Sony!!

Guys, this is looking better and better. Just found this.
Translation: Apart from a number of brand new PSN titles and racing games, SCE is presenting the fully playable version of "WipEout HD". Players are in for a next-gen game with blazing fast action, gigantic electro-sounds and high-definition graphics.Originally Posted by onpsx

ZOMG! I don't need excitement in me before going to sleep!
Good find! This is looking even more promising for a September release date. Any how I hear something close to Xmas, I will not be happy
September, boh.... in a dream no? ^^
Ah so that's why I couldn't sleep. I knew something important was happening.
Now I'm so sleepy. zzzz...
Who's the fellow that said Wipeout's a September game?
I think he or she is right on. HD is looking more and more amazing by the update.
Man, I need a PS3. :/
I've always said wipeout is a september game...
to be honest, PlayStation is pretty much a september system. The original PSX launched in sept. if im not mistaken and also many other classic psx games were virgo. Also wipeout games have been virgo before also. My bday is Sept 7th so I have been hoping for/expecting a sept release date on HD for a LONG time now.
W3O was launched in the USA in September. The Dreamcast was launched in the USA in September. The twin towers of the World Trade Center were reverse-launched in September.
It's a seasonal transition month, so historically it became a time to start new advertising programs, car model years, and probably a driving force of it all, the new school year.
Oddly enough, XL was released in late September in the 'States and didn't make it to Europe until October. Pure was initially a March release, though the PSP had been around longer in North America than in Europe. In retrospect, saying that a Wipeout game is best when it's released in a certain month or season isn't exactly accurate.

Now back to the topic at hand: Who's going to Leipzig?
No.
Since 'No.' by itself is too short I had to add this line.
....?
He's referring to the five-letter minimum rule.
I'm expecting good news about this game when I get back tomorrow afternoon!
Yes, I know; I was demonstrating the 5-character minimum in my post. And simultaneously questioning the need or desirability of the long explanation in the previous post if saying only 'No'. would have been enough.
[note to self: try to avoid excess of subtlety. ]
I got it, and I've been up since 4am after 3hrs sleep!
But then, as Lance-ism's go, that was pretty low hanging fruit!
