How about this...
Those of you who are old enough (and played games) back in the mid 90's will remember the superb space combat games x-wing and tie-fighter. A large part of the genius of that game was the constant juggling of a fintie energy resource between shields, weapons and speed. Could a more streamlined version (i.e. easily controllable) of this be introduced into anti-gravity racing do you think? Would introduce a tactical element.
