Future Sound of London you won't really find in shops outside Europe that easily, here in the UK HMV still stock all their albums in store, I think you might be better off buying online, also, not ALL their music is like what you hear from them in WipEout, they have always been making more chillout music.

Bit of useless info: if you remember the remix 'Humanoid' from Fusion by 'Stakker', it's worth knowing that 'Stakker' is in actual fact FSOL using another alias.

    Done.

swift, I can't buy online so that's not really an option unfortunately... :/
And just in case you're worrying about me not liking slow songs, I like Microscopic by Gas 0095 which is quite slow
Maybe if I go in the store and ask for it they can order, I don't know.

Hey, new dude here. I just saw the game some days ago, looks great! I've only played the first game on PSX for a short moment though

If only the PS3 could handle shoutcast radio, would be friggin sweet having French Kiss FM on while playing Zone Mode Anyway, here's some of my tracks that I'll be listening to while playing Wipeout HD:

    1. Stanton Warriors - Action
    2. Groove Armada - Lightsonic
    3. Rio - Race Is Set, Pt. 2
    4. Armand Van Helden - When The Lights Go Down
    5. Justice - New Jack
    6. Jamiroquai - Feels Like it Should
    7. Boogie Pimps - I've Got The Music In Me
    8. Alter Ego - Rocker
    9. Armand Van Helden - Hear My Name (Feat. Spalding Rockwell)
    10. Coburn - We Interupt This Program
    11. Tepr - Minuit Jacuzzi (Data Remix)
    12. Leonard de Leonard - Leonizer Fever
    13. Justice - D.A.N.C.E. (Live Version)
    14. Daft Punk - Musique
    15. Paul Oakenfold - Ready Steady Go
    16. Plaid - Assault on Precinct Zero

Well well, it's been a while since I've written anything to this forum, although I've been lurking pretty heavily just about anything related to WipEout HD. I loved the Custom Soundtrack concept from Pulse and if HD's equivalent is the same (but without any track limit), then it will really be a blast.

I was pre-emptive and compiled a playlist, which will at least sooth my ears. Nostalgic stuff from previous WipEouts, 90's stuff, all electronica, because WipEout wouldn't be the same with some dreadful R'n'B or other genres. Since couple of guys have posted their soundtracks already, let me add mine to the mix. Part of this was from Pulse's custom soundtrack. Without further ado, here's my personal WipEout HD - The Unofficial Soundtrack (not for any bragging rights really, I just think this fits the mood really well):

    Aphex Twin:
    54 Cymru Beats
    Digeridoo

    The Chemical Brothers:
    Three Little Birdies Down Beats
    Chemical Beats
    Dig Your Own Hole
    Elektrobank
    The Private Psychedelic Reel
    Dust Up Beats
    Loops of Fury
    Star Guitar
    Saturate

    CoLD SToRAGE:
    Canada
    Body in Motion

    Fluke:
    Absurd
Atom Bomb (not the 2097 version, the original)
    V6
    Snapshot
    Switch/Twitch

    The Future Sound of London:
    Expander
    Papua New Guinea [Hybrid Mix]
We Have Explosive (this is from Dead Cities because 2097's ending was cut)
    Speed Ball
    Landmass

Hong Kong Trash - Down the River [Torrential Rapids Mix]

    Leftfield:
    Phat Planet
    Double Flash
    Afro Ride

    Luke Slater - Bolt Up

    The Orb:
    Hell's Kitchen
    Toxygene [7" Edit]

    Orbital:
    Remind
    Crash And Carry
    P.E.T.R.O.L. (aka. Wipe Out)
    Tension
    Tootled
    Beelzebeat
Know Where to Run (from Wip3out, if only I could find Middle of Nowhere from somewhere...)
Funny Break (One Is Enough) [Plump DJs Remix]

    Sasha:
    FEISAR
    Icaras
    Auricom
    Goteki 45
    Pirhana
    Xpander

    Underworld:
    Rowla
    Kittens
    Beautiful Burnout
    Tin There (Underworld Edit)

Venetian Snares - Szycag (ok, this is more of a joke, since this is SO UTTERLY HEAVY BREAKCORE that it's gonna crack me up every time in Zone when it really starts to get noisy)

    u-Ziq - The Motorbike Track

    ...

    Gee, this was kinda long!

I've revised my tracklist somewhat... alot, mostly '00s electro music that fits Wipeout very well (imo). If you want my soundtrack I can upload it to you on SoulSeek, just send me a pm here. It's still undergoing some change and I'm still adding new tracks though.

I think old(95-98 ) goa trance works great. Its fast and its electronic and its ****ing good all at the same time. ^_^

Shakta, Dimension 5, Transwave, Ra, Chi A.D, Hallucinogen, Etnica, Pleiadians, Electric Universe, Miranda, Astral Projection and so on. But it has to be the old music, some of these artist makes new less good music nowadays.

I've got a 41-song playlist that runs over 3 hours. But this website is apparently against file sharing, so I guess my offer to share it with you guys would be wasted.

(I also have a sixty-something song mix culled from the first five Wipeout game soundtracks. It's not bad.)

I was jamming out to the Blue Room Release "Made on Earth" double disc set last night. Absolutely amazing Wipeout tunes. Just a sweet beat without many mixups to distract.

    Right you are!
Good redirect there Egg, threads merged!

Somewhat more on topic, I like how you can use higher bitrate songs in HD than were allowed in Pulse, that's a nice improvement. Hopefully I'll get to see this game in action some day, perhaps then I can consider a custom playlist for myself. 8 )

    Agreed on the GOA...

Especially all the old school stuff...currently trying to find all my Flying Rhino, Dragonfly Records and a whole heap of other dirty dirty acid trance I used to listen to...

Just imported Prodigy's The Fat of the Land...the whole album was made for WipEout racing...pure adrenaline charge...
