I'm in love with a few of these Sponors seen in the game (especially AIcorp, 2ND SKIN and +01 CORP) and I just got the idea to print them on T-Shirt as I found a nice, small store in my city that prints stuff on T-Shirts for little money.
I could either go into a shop and buy something that I can get everywhere or I pay 3 Euros more and get something that looks 1) stylish and 2) is of high quality.
And even though I have a few nice designs in my mind (which I'll print sooner or later maybe) I feel the need of those stylish sponsors on my T-Shirts

So the question I want to ask is if there is the chance those Logos could be available as vectors somewhere?
The resolution on WOHD's website is rather small and vectorizing by myself could lead to some annoying results.
Also, I want to know if it's ok to print them (copyright and stuff).

And yes I would like to hear some official words here

As long as you're not selling them for profit, I think you're free to use them on a t-shirt. I've printed tonnes of T-shirts for friends, using iron-on print paper, and most of those had some sort of copyrighted image on (film images and so on).

Besides, like WipeoutZone itself, it's essentially free advertising for the game - so I'm sure Sony would be more pleased than angry

I'm glancing nervously at the door now I've typed all that ....

Max, if you tell me what logos you want, I could vectorize them for you. I was thinking about printing myself a couple of shirts as well.

    The ones mentioned above, definitely.

I could do it myself, but that will end in much manual work because just a simple button press won't do the job satisfying.
Not to mention that some images have to many details you can't even view properly.
That's the reason why I ask for some AI or PDF or SWF files.

I'll vectorize them if there's no chance to get them from Studio Liverpool.
I would just like to know if you guys can hand out the logos or not.

And thanks Egg for the copyright thingie.
And I really appreciate your offer, Martin. But let's see what SL has to say, first

I should've kept the source files I used to make the WipEout HD avatar pack, I essentially had all the sponsor logos in original resolution on a monochrome background. I could've hosted these for you, to ease your work a little. You can try using the avatars I made, but since they are at a small resolution I doubt you will come up with something correctly scaled (Check the "Customs Avatar" thread in the "Evolution Engine")

I vectorized the 2NDSKIN logo (took me about 1,5 hours!)
Everything is manual work. Looks pretty close to the original.
Next is +O1CORP an AIcopr - those should be done a lot quicker (especially +O1CORP ).

    Here's a high-res PNG image (about 130KB)
    Here’s a PDF (about 1,8MB)
And here’s the Illustrator file (about 140KB)

    Have fun

And yes I know that those small letters are missing. But 1) it's to small to read, 2) it's probably to small for a T-Shirt print anyway and 3) I just wanted to get that finished now
