    Default Wipeout HD Skin Editor?

Maybe there is not a posibility or maybe it's a matter of time!
How do you feel about being able to skin your ship at full colour and high resolution? If not for HD for future releases!

I think it would be great except for the fact that HD/future craft will have huge amounts of polys and whatnot, but a downloadable version you could run on your PC would be wonderful!

I'm trying to think how it could be done ... as the ships become more complicated (more layers of wings and whatnot) you'd need a livery editor where you could 'explode' the ship to make it possible to paint it in 3D (or 2D, for that matter).

Anyone who's built an Airfix kit and left it 'till they'd glued it together before trying to paint it, knows what I'm getting at. It's fiddly.

    De-lurking for this one!

Yes, please. But not like the bloody awful on-line abomination that we had for pulse. A proper downloadable (Java, maybe) application compiled for windows, OS X and linux, please!

    Re-lurking now...
