I miss the all-glass underwater tunnel with those beautiful refractions, though.

i hope that isn't the final HUD, it's terrible!

the graphics look insane for this game, but the most exciting image for me was at the top, that stretched out landscape one, THAT looked like wipeout should!

But i'm gonna have to go with the 'wtf have they done to the hud' crew
Also, i think the blue bit at the top is the new shield meter?

But if it is, then what is with the percentage at the bottom right of the screen next to the speedo? (it reads 0 by the way). Is this a new game mechanic?
