Internet requirements?

I am considering purchasing wipeout pulse ( played the demo- excellent)
I have recently obtained a WiFi MAX for my psp to go online. The connection speed is 54 Mbps. Is this enough to be able to play Pulse online without too much freezing? (as some online games do)

Hi Automaniac - If it helps, i'm using a Netgear DG834G that has a 54mbps speed rating, and it's more than adequate. I've played many games (of Pulse that is) online & have had little or no freezing at all.... the occassional glitch, but that could be down to many things.

the speed of the wireless will make no difference as even the slowest standards will be faster than your internet connection (unless you are on citylink in wellington)
do you know what upload speed your internet connection has?

AFAIK the psp's wifi works at 11Mbps (I saw this reading from my wifimax before a MHF kai session) which is more than adequate for infra.
