Default Post your custom Ship Skins here!

Post your ship skins here - remember the forum rules apply, so don't post images over 50k inline - link them instead. If you don't, myself or the other moderators will delete your post rather than converting it into a link for you.

    That's it - enjoy.

    I wanted the X-wing look!

though in the game you can't see the wear and fatigue of the metal
will have and the letters need to change the color and may be the bg color as well to be seen better.

All done in the online editor mind you

I decided to make a ship for my mobile game company and match it up with the company colors. Simple style, just done in the online flash editor.

Right side, company logo on back wing.

I decided that I just didn't want to have to recreate the logo a second time, so I wanted to put something else. I grabbed one of our favorite characters from one of our games and slapped him on the other side of the ship. Again, done just with the flash editor, pixel by pixel.

I'm not artist, but eh... I like it.

Just a start, it doesn't seem to be entirely black, hell.

Hellfire - Nice skin. Did you do that online or in something like Photoshop etc? Black just looks so good.

I am finally content with my "Cold War" Qirex skin. I never could get "copy & paste" to work with my macbook so everything is by hand.

A lot of the Qirex architecture remains. I wanted it to look like a group of extremists basically hijacked a Qirex team ship and painted it it in favor of the old Soviet Union.

...and yes, it says exactly what you think it says on the left side of the ship.

Unfortunately Vincent_VII is now banned for 24 hours for posting images that broke the file size limit.

I am deadly serious about this folks - next person to break the rules on this gets banned for for a week.

Still not much change from egg's original, I've cleaned up the textures considerably, to give it that 'new paint job' look, again I've added a slightly larger 'feisar chibi' (Rumor has it that's your doing infox, would you mind giving us a little background info).

Nah, he's mine. Don't ask me what he is though - I'll leave that up to Foxy ...

    Awesome ships guys, really impressive.

Ive never been one to dabble with photoshop, my most testing skills come from Microsoft Paint

Can you actually import images into the editor or can you only work with the tools there? Also I found the colour scheme was set for each section of the ship and only when you complete blank canvas the ship can you start messing around- otherwise you are altering the specific colours?!

To be brutally honest I can only see me using some user created skins because my attempts would look lamer than the defaults lol.

the colors are set for each ship when it first loads, but once you make the craft a solid color, you can pick the colors for the other 15

and yes, you can import/export between the editor and photoshop ( or ms paint in your case )

Lo again dudes, been watching all the retro designs in this thread and it inspired me a little... So I started work on this:

    http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w...FEISARWIP1.jpg

(someone wanna tell me how to do thumbnails on here? Pretty please...)

It's a very early WIP shot, but you get the idea. I've still gotta add some shading and detail, and logos and such, gonna give it the 2097 Feisar logo and some personal tag or sumat

Two new skins... Finally getting the hang of it, I think. Realised I'm better at MS Paint than Photoshop.

Here's an Assegai bringing honour to the original Wipeout's Rapier Class, plus a bit of Silverstream. Got the idea after playing Wipeout on an emulator (I own the original, but sadly it's all battered and scratched... I got it for my PSP just now, though!) and unlocking Rapier class by using the keyboard. Getting first in Silverstream took about 10 tries.

And, since I love Harimau's colour scheme so much, but I'm not going to get the download pack containing it, I made a Harimau skin for AG Systems. Harimau Systems?
