No you got it all wrong mic, it's only a good thing to have some diversity in your music range

I usually listen to my music while playing WHD now, or simply relaxing and tuning out. While looking around the web I usually have a news, lecture, debate, podcast, audiobook, or youtube video going in the background, to fill in all those mindless gaps waiting for pages to load with something that makes me feel smart.

I'm listening to Mark Kermode's film reviews from BBC's Five Live right now. Yeah, it's Friday, so I'm not trying to feel that smart.

Cool Boris! Boris! Get us to the chorus!

Just kidding. Actually I mean the Jap trio named Boris (or BORIS, or boris, depending the genre of the album...).

These guys (and girl) play everything from metal to laid back experimental-jazzy-sounding stuff...okay I know that's not a genre.

Try listening to "Statement" or "Rattlesnake" for metal, "Farewell" for Mogwai type sounds, and "Rainbow" - because it's just beautiful.

    Default Korosu!

I got some grief for using Boris - Korosu in a wipeout youtube video. I didn't get it myself. I felt the tempo worked perfectly.

I tend to hum quietly to myself for much of the day. That way I can 'listen' to music in my own head and still hear the world around me. Not wearing headphones helps me survive as I can hear things while I'm out and about, e.g. cars approaching, anvils making that whistling noise as they fall from the sky - pretty standard really. Now that I've been reminded of this tune. I think it's what I'll be listening to in my head for at least the rest of the night.

A classic. Wakko really loved anvils. I've not seen the Animaniacs for a long time, dammit. I wish they'd be shown on broadcast tv around here, since I don't have cable, and don't even know if any cable networks here show them.

    Spiderbait - Glockenpop
Vastly different from their rendition of black betty, hard to believe they are from the same band.

I used to play this at full volume at 04:00 (in the morning, not during the song )back at school to annoy the house matron. She looked (and acted) like voldemort and lived just above my bedsit
