wipeout 2097: how to run gravis gamepad pro or logitech rumblepad 2?

hey!

the problem is, that my gravis gamepad pro works without mistakes in windows, but it can`t be configured in the wipeout controllersetup. what to do?
and is it even possible to use a logitech rumblepad 2 for this game?

iirc wo2097/xl for pc doesnt recognise pads using directinput (directx part for controllers and such) most pads today use directinput, so its a common problem with this game.

Search the forums, there might be some more info about that topic.

Logitech controllers are not to be used. There are major flaws within every logitech controller ever released. At least from my experiences.
