Default Odessa Keys' final hairpin - how?

How is it possible that anyone could pull off a perfect lap knowing that this evil, evil corner (even worse than the hairpins at SilverStream and Outpost 7) is there to ruin it every time?

Is there a way to get round it with speed and not end up twatting the wall? :/

Thank you, Tomahawk. I can see that Asa's really anticipating the turns, airbraking early, and using a shitload of pitch-up to keep from hitting the wall once he kicks in the turbo.

It looks so effortless, and in a Qirex no less. He's got to have the steering sensitivity at ridiculous levels. (And I still couldn't race with the nose-cam.)

another way of doing it, is hit both brakes at the same time for a very short period, then go from there. There is a jump method as well (you do not need turbos to do it)

Or here and here (for one much faster lap)
    ...without a NeGcon. *shameless self-promotion* ;3

Is this guy Anakin Skywalker or something? Absolutely mind boggling.

I wouldn't compare him to Anakin, he's more like a "WipEout Yoda". The main thing is he doesn't sit down for a week and tries doing a race like this. He switches on his console and off he goes at explosive speeds, but what else would you expect from a guy who has sacrificed three quraters of his lifetime to playing this game?

Heh, it's getting better now that I'm using the neG setup with the throttle and fire buttons mapped to the shoulder buttons and the airbrakes on B and A.

    I should know, I practiced.
